One of the best hotels in el nido. Very peaceful and clean. Staffs were great and very kind. Food was very good also. They even upgraded our room for free. Although water pressure in the shower was not that strong but still okay. Overall experience was awesome.

we were first given a room from the lower ground floor the room was neat but AC moistens the floor so much that we need to ask to be transfered in another room, the 2nd room was ok thanks for the good service

Service was good. Lovely welcome drink on arrival but when shown the room it was tiny and had an overwhelming smell of mould. We asked for another room so they moved us up a floor and its was better. Still small. Would not book same room rate again. Helpful polite staff and free shuttle to town. Beautiful pools.

I really liked the hotel. Good location away from the center, there are scheduled shuttles to Lio Beach and El Nido. At first I was confused by the size of the room and the side window, but the hotel itself is very beautiful and green. It is better to take a room in a category higher than standard. The staff is very friendly. You can book a tour.

Very poorly organised hotel. Staff tried to check our family into a family room in front of building work being carried out. Unfortunately, I had to be assertive and inform the manager that the hotel either arranges a suitable room where our children will be well rested or we will cancel our booking. Manager was empathetic and arranged a suitable room. But, this should never have happened in the first place. The restaurant is extremely unorganised. On 2 occasions, we ordered our food and were blatantly given something else. The response was "unavailable". Again, I had to speak to the management. It's just unacceptable to be ordering something and yo be given something else without consulting with the guests. The staff try their best to resolve things quickly but these problems should never happen in the first place. If you're looking to book accommodation with your family, I wouldn't recommend you to visit this place until there is evidence of things improving. I certainly will never be coming back again.

Because I had such an amazing experience with Charlie's El Nido last year with their staff and customer service, I decided to return again this year and stay with them. As always, upon getting off the plane, I was well taken care of by the staff of Charlie's, Thank You Kat!!!!. This by far has been the best resort & hotel in El Nido. The entire staff provides the ultimate best service. The food is amazing and delicious as well! You really feel as if you are at home. I love staying there & they all make you feel like you are a part of their family. Having a shuttle & a tricycle service is so convenient & takes away the stress. Aleta, is the best massage therapist ever! Also, The rooms are so clean! Huge shout out to Kat, Nina, Reven, Anthony, JR, Aleta, and Kuya Joseph! Please consider staying at Charlie's when in El Nido, they made my trip so memorable!

Still have some things to work on.. They didn’t started on top when our pre-booked shuttle didn’t showed up at airport. Waited an hour until a security guard at the airport helped us order a tricycle. Some misunderstanding between booking office and the reception was the answer, but they paid for our tricycle. It was a nice and modern hotel. Not a resort for pool relaxing because they only have few sun beds and always occupied. Even towels were few. Always in laundry was the answer. The rooms were tiny and dark. Always humid and moist. All our clothes and even bed linens felt wet. The food was tasty and good. But as in many places the service isn’t very fast. Long waiting times, from order to waiting even if they weren’t crowded. They were really keen on the allergies and made some offer to try to fix things. Even if they had spring rolls med of rice paper on the menu, of course the rice paper were out of stock they didn’t got new for our whole stay. As much others. No Cola Zero. Out of French fries and so on. They’re not quick to clean used glasses around pool area. Our tv didn’t work. They had not a great interest in trying to make it work. Our door lock same thing.. Good thing is the free shuttle to ElNido, LioBeach and the airport. Upon checkout I got the question how the stay was, my hesitation in answer and that it didn’t fulfill my expectations I didn’t got any reaction or questions how they could have done better. Don’t ask the question if you don’t want the answer.

Feels like home. The staff are welcoming and always ready to assist. Good food. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town area. Free service shuttle to key areas. 5 minutes away from Lio Airport. 15 minutes away from town. Rooms are cozy. There is an available spa services. Surely to enjoy your stay.

We stayed at Charlie's El Nido in January. Upon our arrival at El Nido airport, we were promptly picked up as arranged via email. The hotel is located about a 5-minute drive from the airport, a bit distant from El Nido town, but they offer free shuttles 3-4 times a day to the town and to nearby beaches. Staying away from the bustling town center, which is more commercial and has lower quality accommodations, was the right choice for us. The hotel is truly beautiful, both the exterior and the rooms. The breakfast was delicious, and the kitchen was excellent, especially for us who were cautious about water and other details. The central pool is clean and well-maintained, and the rooms are tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, sometimes even more so than what you find in Europe. Most importantly, the staff was fantastic: well-prepared, always available, discreet, and attentive to every detail. Unlike what we're used to in Europe, they possess a kindness that is characteristic of the Philippines. It was definitely the right choice.

A decent hotel in El Nido, service was pretty good, our room was clean and serviced everyday. The only issue we had was the lack of water pressure with the shower (basically drips). It was real bad one night that I had to ask my wife to use the bidet hose to spray me when the shower completely stopped dripping and I had soap and shampoo all over. Also be advised, you have to rent the beach towels if you have to take them offsite to island tours. Better yet, bring your own beach towels.

Charlie's El Nido wasn't worth what we paid. The main issue was our room. We booked a superior queen based on the pictures. Those pictures showed a spacious 300 sq foot room with a dedicated sitting area. What we got was a cramped and dated room with limited storage options and no place to sit other than the bed. When I asked the front desk if we were in the correct room, I was told that's what we booked. Clearly, the pictures were very misleading. During our 3 night stay, we also had to deal with consistent blaring music at the pool area (sometimes the bar music would compete with the speakers at the pool so l needed noise canceling headphones to drown out the music), a series of power outages that flooded our room with emergency light at 2 and 4 am in the same night, early morning roosters as the daily wake up call, and a breakfast buffet that was mediocre. The location is also far away from town so plan on timing the hotel shuttle or taking a tricycle for 300 pesos each way to town. Also to note is that the guests were on the younger side so we would hear them heading back to their rooms at very late times. It was hard to sleep through the night with them opening and closing doors at 2-3am. That's not the hotel's fault but is important to note if you're looking to relax after a day exploring the islands around El Nido.

Stayed in this hotel for a 5 day trip in El Nido and it was a really nice experience. The hotel's location is perfect, so relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast was an absolute delight for a breakfast lover like me!! Lol. Having an onsite shuttle that could take us to different points in El Nido such as the town center and Lio Beach was very convenient. We had a little hiccup regarding a leaky bathroom sink which the staff were so quick to fix and even upgraded our room. It was so nice to chill by the pool and drink some cocktails after a long day of island hopping. The highlights were definitely the lovely and accommodating staff, and the onsite massage—not kidding when I say it was the best massage my partner and I had.

Stayed there a few nights and enjoyed it. I'd start by saying that the property and the facilities are not as luxurious as you would expect for the price, but the reason for the five star review is the staff and service. The pool is nice, and the dining area near it is pleasant to sit in. The room that we stayed in was a decent size and clean. The shuttle service to town and the beach is helpful but could do with being more regular. The staff were fantastic - very welcoming, friendly, kind, attentive and accommodating. The BBQ buffet was delicious, and the breakfast buffet was nice too. The egg station do made to order stuff like omelettes and french toast, and they are happy to provide you with other fresh fruit beyond what they have out. The concierge was really helpful with organising activities and transport. The staff really do go above and beyond to look after their guests.

The staff here were incredible! They truly went above and beyond, booking our tours and making us specific drinks that weren’t on the drinks menu. The hotel provides a bus service to town square and lion beach which was free. We used this in the evenings. The rooms were small but clean. Perfect for a few days! It had a lovely pool area too.
