My stay at Paraiso Guest House in Ella, Sri Lanka, was truly comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met with warmth and kindness.
The breakfast served was good, offering a satisfying start to the day. However, the standout feature of Paraiso Guest House was undeniably the view. Waking up to such stunning scenery was an experience in itself and made the stay memorable.

Overall a great value. Host was very accommodating. Place is a gem with excellent view of mountain and nature. I will definitely stay here again.
Too much walk on the railway tracks but not too bad.

Ne mérite pas une très bonne note. Il faut se mettre d’accord sur Tripadvisor: une note de 5/5 veut dire que tout est au top! Ce qui n’est pas le cas. Les draps sont sales, troués. La climatisation qui sent mauvais. Le personnel est sympa mais cela ne suffit pas. Le seul point positif est la vue mais beaucoup d’autres guesthouses le proposent aussi.

Thank you Dhana and his family for a wonderful start to out first visit to Sri Lanka. A simple but stunning accomodation with eveything you need. Parasio is situated in a peaceful area out of town but is only a short walk from town along the railway lines. The daily breakfast was incredible and the views, sensational. Dhana help us see and do all we had planned Ella (including train ride, hikes and tasty meals) and also assisted us with transport. We would definitely stay here again.

Das Paraiso Gästehaus ist eine Familien geführte Unterkunft . Einfach ausgestattete Zimmer mit W-LAN . Unser Zimmer hatte sehr schönen Ausblick in die Berge . Die Handtücher waren schmutzig ! Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und reichlich .

This was probably our favourite place we stayed at on our three week tour of Sri Lanka! Great views, great room size. Very functional with regards a fridge, plenty of wall sockets for charging phones etc . Complimentary water. Great shower. The breakfast was simply delicious and set up in the dining room - some people ate on the pretty outdoor area. The selection of food and the taste was really special, especially the wee sweet coconut pancake rolls! Having said all that - even better was the family who own/run the place - they are all so warm and friendly - helpful with local knowledge and directions. Great english speakers (thankfully cause thats all we were able to speak!). They can give you a shortcut to the main 'town' area that makes it an easy walk. I cant speak highly enough about this place.
