I have to admit, we absolutely loved our stay here. The people were so accommodating and friendly. The location is on a steep hill, most cars won't make it up but walking down and up takes about 5 minutes or a tub tuk can get you there. The view is amazing and worth the walk. It's so close to the main road and close to main attractions (about 20min walk) the room was comfortable, warm, clean. The breakfast was some fruit, with eggs made according to your choice, some toast and they even let us try the coconut pancakes which were so yummy. Everything was amazing. We were so happy there and will definitely stay there again.

Наш отдых в Элле прошёл замечательно. Отличное место за небольшие деньги. Вид ну очень шикарный. Комната скромная, но мы там только ночевали. Есть горячая вода, фен, чайник. Завтрак хозяин готовит, как на свадьбу)) много, вкусно и сытно.

I recently stayed three nights at Ella Green cottages with my soon (13) and we had a lovely experience. The cozy cottages are nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush greenery, which gave it a serene and peaceful jungle atmosphere with birds and small monkeys playing around. The cottages themselves were cozy and comfortable, with the necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning. Pancakes, toast, fresh fruits, omelets and various traditional Sri Lankan foods. The host was very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make os feel comfortable and ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Ella Green cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. What an amazing hotel. From check in the staff can’t do enough to help, they’re all so friendly and seem to genuinely care if you have a nice time. The room was amazing, it was clean, well equipped with everything you might need and the views were incredible! It’s very centrally located within Ella and a short walk down to shops and restaurants, the walk back up is quite steep but you can always get a tuk tuk up if it’s too steep for you! They’re currently in the process of putting in a roof pool and I think that will make it even better! We would love to come back one day.

It is located on a hill side where the entry road is a bit too steep for vans to get up and down. If you are travelling with the private van, you may need to get off and to walk up to the hotel. it's not a too long walk but it's a steep one. Also, you will need to walk up to the stairs to your room and your toilet inside the room is not on the same level as your room so be prepared to have quite a lot of stairs walk. The hotel's balcony has a beautiful little Adam's Peak view and it's the best part of staying there. There is air-con for people looking for a hotel in Ella with this.

What a find, such a beautiful spot high up on the mountain side, spectacular views. The room and facilities were so clean, loved the four poster bed and so comfortable too. We had a double balcony with fantastic views of the surrounding area. The dining area is spacious with all round views very clean. The meals were well cooked and delicious. Loved the breakfast. The staff were great nothing too much trouble for them. I do hope I get to go back to stay at Dream Catcher.
