Very nice hotel The river walk is just across the road, Very convenient for shops. Breakfast great. Can preorder next day breakfast and time! Great idea! staff very helpful and friendly!

Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Delicious food, with an interesting menu. Cooked breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. There is plenty of room in the hotel car park. Helpful and and friendly staff made the stay a pleasure. Couldn't fault this hotel at all.

What a great place to stay. Everything from check-in, meals in the fab restaurant with great service and in the bar as well. The rooms were very up to date and clean. We only stayed for one night. Didn't have a cooked breakfast because we were running the local parkrun that morning but what we had, cereal, toast etc was satisfying. Would I go back? Certainly.

I organised a wee suprise party for a friend who’s moving away. From the initial enquiry to the party, the team have been amazing. The room was a perfect size for a small intimate party. I’d ordered some nibbles which went down well with everyone. Our barnan Ryan is a credit to the New Inn. Polite, friendly and very helpful. Everyone had a great time. I wouldn’t hesitate to organise another there and highly recommend. Thank you everyone!

Came here from Abrdeen with Husband to meet Family for a Meal shocking that there is no disabled parking at the main entrance for Wheelcair had o park behind the Hotel only to go in the back door & find there is steps to restaurant then got told had to go out front door only to find more steps to be bumped down to go into the side bit for the restaurant place was busy but did take a while to take order of drinks & server them food was orderd which also took a while to arrive food was good never saw any disabled toilets definitely not an easy place for wheelchair users!

Excellent room comfy beds and room had lovely views of the river. Family used to run hotel so great to visit. Son said “Genuinely the best steak he had ever had in his life”. Good breakfast, staff accommodating and well placed in the town for access to local amenities.

We were not in the hotel. We’were put into a self catering house at the rear of the hotel which we were not expecting. However it was clean and tidy just not in the hotel.
