a very comfortable small hotel built over several layers and buildings Only one night at teh end of a trip but it was very comfortable and teh pool looked nice Well located with a very short walk to the centre of town Reception staff v friendly. Good breakfast on a terrace with great views Only "challenge" was finding the car park - I suggest they have a small map made for guests as google maps isn't helpful Overall; a good place to stay i- good value and comfortable

Our stay at Orama was a mixed bag. The hotel seemed very nice, but pictures were very misleading. Rooms were small and not clean. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room. It made a terrible noise and the side of the panel came loose. It also made condensation drips, which fell on to the bed. We spoke to the receptionist about this, but he seemed baffled and offered no real solution. We ended up moving the bed, because i don’t want condensation drips on my head, or the whole cooler. When moving the bed, we quickly noticed how dirty it was behind the bed and the stains present on the sides. It was as if somebody puked on the bed and they only changed the sheets and linnen. We didn’t make use of the pool, so we had little to complain about except for the ridiculous opening hours. The pool opens at 10:30 and checkout is expected at 11:00. The pool also closes at 18:30. Staff was kind and breakfast was alright. Overall, would not be coming back.

Great property and a real value! Staff is excellent even when I made a mistake of thinking I was checking out the next day, and they found me a new room. Breakfast was generous and rooms and views were great. Great place!

Looks from the road are deceptive. This is a lovely hotel. Modern well equipped rooms, everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, including fridge, coffee machine, twin sinks in the bathroom. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Fabulous views from the rooms, restaurant and rooftop bar. Excellent spread for breakfast and welcoming helpful staff. Hard to fault this hotel. We enjoyed the stairs but there are lifts to all levels. We would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic I can’t fault that. A short 10 minute walk to the centre of Elounda where there are plenty of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from and lovely beach. Also easy to reach other points of interest in the area using the local bus or taxis. I had read the reviews before booking our stay so fully aware of the layout and steps around the hotel which didn’t bother us but if you have mobility issues then this is not the hotel for you. I had also read about the bathroom situation so was prepared to a degree. However please do not under estimate how small the toilet actually is, I am a slim 5ft lady and my shoulders were touching the wall on either side of the cubicle whilst using the toilet. There really isn’t anywhere to move! My 6ft partner really struggled with this! If you suffer from claustrophobia this really isn’t for you! In contrast we found the shower to be fine and plenty of room to move around. I guess each room is different and it’s luck of the draw. I have travelled all over Greece and expect the drain located on the floor in the bathroom but the cover was loose in our room and located directly behind the sink which was dangerous as I stepped back and knocked it off one day and the heel of my foot went down the drain, luckily causing no injury. Our room was tiny with hardly any storage space for our clothes. There were draws but we were unable to open them due to the location of the bedside table blocking them in. But we don’t go on holiday to spend time in the room so perhaps didn’t bother us too much. The beds are lovely and comfy. Again each room is different and others may have more space. The hotel is described as 4 star boutique. People should remember that 4 star in Greece is very different from what you would expect from a 4 star in the UK. However, as a minimum I would have expected better towels in the bathroom. The ones we had were tiny, akin to drying yourself on a tea towel, they were worn with holes in and grey rather than white although I do appreciate its getting to the end of the season. My main issue was cleanliness. It doesn’t matter if the hotel is 2 star or 4 star I would expect it to be clean and the standards at the hotel left a lot to be desired. We had cobwebs all over our room including in the wardrobe, the bedside phone was covered in dust and we took to cleaning the sink, vanity area and toilet ourselves as they clearly weren’t being touched. Someone had spilt something on the floor by the lift on our floor which was still there a week later when we left so clearly hadn’t been mopped or cleaned for over a week. I appreciate it’s the end of the season and staff are probably tired but standards shouldn’t be allowed to slip. Overall the hotel doesn’t appear to be well maintained and it does look shabby in some places which is a shame. A little TLC would go a long way. This Hotel was fantastic from start to finish. Sofia, Dora and Toni made our holiday so special. Nothing was too much trouble, spotlessly clean. Amazing in every way Toni even spent time teaching my little boy how to swim under water, such wonderful memories to cherish forever

We booked 28 rooms for our wedding party and this hotel couldn't of been better. We fell in love with the location before anything else when suggesting it to our guests but upon arrival we knew we made the right decision. Nothing was too much trouble from the minute i started planning the stay. Sofia is a blessing to the hotel but so is the rest of the team. The hotel also hosted a drink reception for us the night before the wedding again nothing was an issue and they just wanted us to have the best time. Thank you for creating and leaving all 55 guests with a memorable stay
