From the moment we arrived and throughout our 2 week stay we were made to feel welcome. A particular thank you to Nikos whose happy nature made us feel that nothing was too much trouble - even coming down for breakfasts at 11.30 am.. All the staff were great and our apartment kept clean daily. The location is great for seeing the area, close to the excellent restaurants and the town centre where one could take a bus or a taxi. English is widely spoken which made life easier for us; although we did pick up a few phrases for greetings. We are pleased to recommend these apartments.

I have been here before by myself and with family and friends and again I have had the best holiday. Olg and Mr. George and the staff greet you like family and although I was by myself this time you never feel alone. I had a ground floor studio this time over looking the garden, new sunbeds and the sea It was wonderful. Barbara came in everyday to clean the room and it was spotless. Can't wait to return in September with my Son and my best friend

Fantastic room in a great location with amazing views. Booked with Jet2. It is close to bars and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and have a small area with fridge , sink and hob. The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard and bar staff were friendly. Very comfy sunbeds in the front garden area.

Being at the end of the season we were extremely lucky with wonderful weather. Alikes is a small complex, situated on one side of a quiet road with the sea on the other side at the quiet end of the Elounda. The staff at Alikes were extremely welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a self catering one bed studio which wasn't large buy adequate. It had a shaded balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good, easily adjustable shower (my two 'must-have's!). The catering facilities in the room were basic - not much more than a sink and a fridge with a minimal amount of crockery etc. However, Elounda has so many waterside restaurants that apart from making our own simple breakfasts, we ate out. The quality of the food at every restaurant we ate at, was exceptional - especially if you liked fish! At taxi ride (10 euros) to Plaka and a boat trip to Spinalonga (14 euros pp) are well worth it. Apart from that we spent the week making the most of the sun on the small beach and sauntering along by the boats, soaking up the atmosphere and checking out the restaurant menus to decide where to eat that evening!

From the moment we arrived, (late at night !) to the moment we left, we were made to feel welcome and at home. We has an apartment on the second floor with a view over the sea which was gorgeous. The apartment itself was simple but incredibly clean and well equipped, with the cleaners coming daily. Nikos is a wonderful host, and was always happy to give us recommendations and advice. The apartments are a lovely 5 minute walk into the town which is full of great cafes and restaurants, and a 5 minute drive to Kolakitha Beach - a beautiful gem of a beach (although not on a Sunday when all the locals go and it becomes very crowded.) The bar in the hotel is calm and tranquil and all the staff go out of their way to look after you. We were only there for a week, but I would happily return and really hope that we will.

An amazing place in a dreaming location. Thank you for the experience to wake up in paradise. The Hotel is surrounded by amazing personnel,the bartender is making the most tastfull ccoctails and you are a step from the sea. Deffinately I will be back.

Thank you. My friend and I had a wonderful holiday at the Alikes. Lovely friendly beautiful people, who went above the beyond to make our stay perfect. Comfortable place, near shopping district, directly across from the water. Nice modern bathroom, comfortable beds, wonderful service, small balcony. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which serves breakfast- dinner. There is a small pool and an outdoor sitting area, both covered and uncovered. There are a few parking spaces. It’s about an hour away from Heraklion.
