It is one of the accommodations that I really like From the friendly welcome of the receptionist and the restaurant for dinner at It tastes delicious. And there was a waiter named Thomas who welcomed us well. The accommodation has a clear, beautiful view of the city. I recommend this place. Inexpensive and worth it

AMAZING service! Thanks to Leonard (who helped us with everything from feeling welcomed, answering a billion questions from us, fixed all we needed to get around, managed to compile a superb whisky sour, etc etc) we would DEFINITELY come back to exactly this hotel. Calm place, but not boring. Great view! Smooth transit to the slopes with the private shuttle.

Very well located hotel, with breathtaking views of Engelberg and the mountains. Excellent welcome. Friendly atmosphere, pleasant and clean rooms. Well stocked and very good breakfast buffet. Address to recommend without reservation.

Charming hotel with a fantastic view of Engelberg and the surrounding mountains. Good breakfast and clean and fresh.. We stayed 4 in a family room for 4 and had plenty of space, we thought. Would love to return.

Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp is a wonderful hotel. I stayed in the single room with a balcony and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very clean and recently remodeled. The facilities are well-equipped, with a sauna/steam room on site, electric hot water kettle in rooms, common ski room with boot dryers in lockers, covered parking, and a good restaurant on site. My room itself was small, but very clean, had a nice view of the valley/mountains, a balcony, and small closet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only negative is the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola and 5-7 minutes to the train station. But, it was well worth it for the quality of hotel and value. Also, the restaurant is very good, my chicken cordon bleu was one of the best meals I've had in Switzerland.
