Very good location near Entebbe airport. Rooms were ok, shower was very nice. Bugs/flies got into the room at night and made it very hard to sleep.

Great experience at Protea Marriott Entebbe, very close stay to the airport so very convenient, nice facilities at the location, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful I really enjoyed the stay! Special thank you to James, Patrick and Florence for all their help !

When I arrived at the hotel late in the evening, my first impression was not so positive: temporary construction in the hallway, a bar with a "socialist" flair. However, as I stayed longer, my assessment became more and more positive: very large, elegantly furnished rooms, very large balcony with a view of Lake Victoria, impeccable quality and service in the restaurant, very beautiful and well-kept outdoor area with pool, cafeteria/restaurant. An evening stroll along the lakeshore is fantastic. The airport is very close by, but there is hardly any noise pollution. The city center can be reached by car/taxi in 5 minutes. Summary: a highly recommended oasis: suitable both for business stays and for simply relaxing for a few days and enjoying the ambience.

We had a very nice stay. The room and everywhere we went in the hotel was very clean. The staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. The outdoor dining was so relaxing, and the view of Lake Victoria was just amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I have been in Uganda for almost 2 weeks in different hotels and this hotel has the worst service so far esp the bartenders by the pool. Arrogant and rude like their doing you a service. And they all hang out together like their friends rather than actually servicing people. Totally turn off

A very comfortable hotel - quiet, immaculate, air conditioned rooms, that have lovely balconies with amazing views over the lake. The grounds are beautiful with a nice pool, and path and benches along the waterfront where you can sit and watch pied kingfishers, fish eagles, herons, and other birds. The hotel and restaurant staff are terrific - welcoming, professional, and very effective. A special mention goes to the folks who work in the laundry - our clothes came back better than new. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs cooked to order. The baked goods, hot dishes, and fresh fruit were all beautifully prepared and very tasty. The dining patio is pleasant with shady or sunny tables available most of the day. There are some useful small shops in the lobby, including one with a good selection of locally made crafts. We really enjoyed our stay here - felt very much at home and it made a perfect base for our trips to see the Shoebills, Grey Crowned Cranes, and other birds of Mabamba Swamp and to the Botanic Gardens for rich bird life, and beautiful Black and White Colobus monkeys.
