"This hotel is a small oasis, quiet, peaceful and with a super friendly atmosphere. The hotel owner Wilbur and his lovely staff just sweep you off your feet with a level of service not seen in many hotels. The bed was one of the best on our entire trip (fun fact - ask wilbur about how he selects the beds), the food was really tasty and the pool was very clean and well maintained, which is not the case in many other hotels in Uganda. Wifi worked well in the rooms as well as in the pool area. And the best part was, that we actually felt like family, we felt loved and taken care of all the time. Thank you to you Wilbur and your lovely staff - we miss you already!"

"The ambiance and beach views at Saffron Beach Entebbe are truly stunning—relaxing at any time of the day. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the food. Our party of four visited on February 15, 2025, hoping to enjoy an early dinner and try their Indian dishes. We ordered a variety to get a sense of their range: Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton Rogan Josh, and Chicken Curry. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The flavors were underwhelming, and the quality did not justify the price, especially compared to other restaurants serving similar cuisine. The naan was lukewarm at best and more burnt than properly cooked. It felt as if the chef wasn’t present that day, as the dishes lacked the care and authenticity we expected. This was our first visit, and while the location is beautiful, we wouldn’t recommend their Indian dishes at this time. Hopefully, they can improve in the future."

"Very warm and welcoming service. Delicious filling breakfasts (prepared even at 5 a.m. for early departure!). The property is mostly in shadow of several large trees, decorated with uniquely-looking metalwork sculptures. The furniture in the room also feels authentic: bedframes made of thick hardwood, bedside tables use giant tree cross-sections as tabletops. Although there was a safe in our room, we did not use it. The lighting in the room is rather dim, and the windows lack net curtains during daylight (for privacy), but these points were not significant for us. Also the electric sockets were only in one place - near the table with a single chair, although there were two of us. The hotel is located in between two busy roads, so car horn sounds may be a little bothersome during the first night, but you get used quickly. Although the hotel is located basically on the airport highway, a lot of our taxi drivers had difficulties finding it (maybe we were just unlucky). There is also a dog and a cat on the territory, and this, again, proves how nice and genuine the staff here is :)"

I actually liked about the complimentary offer of laundry and cleaning up my apartment I really appreciate that. And of course it’s new the airport 2 mins to the airport. And more fun places to visit like the beach and the zoo . The people who welcomed me were so nice . The rooms and furniture is so nice. I liked the bathroom it was really giving . And the apartment was worthy the amount I paid"
