The hotel location, facilities and breakfast are very good, very close to the important attractions in the city. Very good for a short stay. The central railway station and lidl supermarket are close at hand, and it is super convenient to go to other attractions outside the city. The front desk clerks were friendly.

Rooms are only cleaned if you book this separately, but this is not clearly communicated. The television does not work. The breakfast room is very crowded when there are several large tour groups in the hotel at the same time. Some of the staff are very helpful and friendly, others are completely clueless.

The bed is great. The crew is friendly! However, the rooms are thinly soundproofed... When I wanted an espresso in the evening, the boss on night shift made me one 👍🏻. Even though the bar wasn't very busy. I would book here again as it is very close to the train station.

Friendly, modern, stylish, functional. Perfect for visiting Movie Park/Legoland etc. It's great that 4 family members were accommodated in one room, which saves unnecessary costs. Good breakfast, parking (extra, but close by), everything was perfect, we'll be happy to come back!

This was my fifth stay in the hotel chain. For me, sleeping comfort is very important and I could confirm this in this hotel too. Great bed and quiet room. Top! The receptionist at check-in was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you! However, I am also aware that the breakfast buffet at PremierInn is small, but we still decided to have breakfast here. Everything went well on the first morning, but on the second morning it seemed too extensive. There were no plates left, 3 of 5 cold cuts were empty, no scrambled eggs. We were not the only ones either, as there were other hotel guests waiting behind us. We spoke to the staff, who disappeared into the kitchen and came back less than 5 minutes later. We then decided to have breakfast outside and mention it when we checked out. However, when we checked out there were no staff at reception. But they noticed us and we stayed at the hotel bar. We then checked out using the card box. What a shame! We will probably visit PremierInn again, but not in Essen and probably won't book breakfast again. The disappoin**ent was great to have paid money for something that was nothing.
