Good hotel, clean and perfect downtown location. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the summer months. Lobby could be a little brighter lit.

They did not mention that we need to pay for parking till we checked out. It actually costs €15 per day which they did not mention on check in. That is absolutely unreasonable.

Conveniently located 2min walk from the Essen train station so easy to walk around the city centre.
Modern, well equipped, comfortable accommodation with good service. Room was on a smaller side but fully covered what I needed for my stay.
