I was very disappointed. NO COFFEE! None in the room! Lobby shut down from 8 pm till 8 am? The restaurant next door didn't open till 7 am. Very old decor. The guy at the desk was just there for a paycheck. No customer service at all! The restaurant next door, Jodi's was good.

Great spacious clean room. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked. Tv included hbo. If you are budget conscious this is the place. Breakfast and coffee were just about right to get us on the road. My fussy poodle liked it too. My second stay here.

Terrible lots of ants and some bugs. Had some 25 -30 ants in my to go cup in the morning, plus another 40-70 walking around on my 2 sinks. Talked to manager in the morning, he gave no apology but said I would get a refund after talking to his wife. 2 calls later and no refund as I had booked an economy room for $50, what did I expect? If I had paid $150, I might have got a refund. Additionally, a foot of snow pushed in front of my door, yet 10 or so rooms on my side weren’t rented that had been cleared. Terrible management !

I stayed here about a year or so ago. I really loved my stay then and am loving it now. It’s located just off of the freeway…. No driving all over town to get to it. A major gas station nearby to top off and get that special coffee in the morning ( they have coffee as well) . The prices are unbelievably affordable….. as a single woman I always feel safe here. Room smells …. Fresh…. Not like something being covered up with spray…. Just smells like nothing lol… Gotta tell you…. I never walk around in socks…. But I did this time and I am not kidding …. Nothing nasty on my socks - still clean! Pet friendly and they aren’t letting you freeze….lol…. You can easily adjust the heat but walk into a cozy room when you get there. Also for us ladies over 50 there’s a fan in this room ( thank you!). And fridge with freezer and microwave. The one thing that sticks out besides the cleanliness is the spaciousness…. Enough room to unpack your stuff and not have to put anything on the floor.

Have stayed here several times but this is the last. Pros first. It is clean, the bed is comfortable, pillows nice. Cons, worst shower ever, no air conditioning, very few tv channels, bathroom sink stopper broken have to pry it out with a knife, water pressure bathroom sink a dribble, no coffee or breakfast as they promise on Monday morning in Oct. front desk very unreliable two of the light fixtures don't work and its not the bulbs. On anohter visit they gave us the wrong key, walked in on a poor guy sleeping. Microwave didn't work. If you want to stay cheap you'll get what you pay for.

New project has me working in Evanston 3xs a year, a week at a time. This is my third trip and pleased to find this little gem of a quaint, family owned, retro motel. Yes, its older, yes its furnishings are dated, but come on, for this price you shouldnt expect a Marriot. CJ checked me in and was very pleasant. At a third less than price of your name brand hotels to boot. I only need a place to lay my head, finish up my daily paper work and no need to pay $100 a night to do it. Two doors to the room, one to parking lot ( you can park right outside your door) and the other that leads into the hallway. The rooms are HUGE!. Lets start with the plus side of things. Yes, huge room, very good water pressure with plenty of hot water with a great shower head. Two sinks, one in a vanity area. I microwave and fridge. Bed was comfy, pillows adequate. Nice flat screen television, heater worked well on chilly nights. There are lots of working folks that stay here but the place was SO quiet, almost eerily so, but had a fan in the room to drown out the silence to help me sleep. Laundry was brightly lit, and the iron/board is in the laundry room. The breakfast area is small, and they provide packaged boiled eggs, individual box cereals, Costco type pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Now the down side. No bath soap bars, they used those wall mounted liquid dispensers. Not sure what the room temperature will be like in the summer as I am not sure if they have air conditioner, but I suspect not since each room is provided with a portable fan. East side of motel sits up against a small hillish mountain so there wasnt much day light, and the room is quite dark anyways. Except for the window above the outside door, which has no cover on it so the flourescent light just outside it shines in terribly at night. And no coffee maker. All of this is managable. The internet...........I mean the lack thereof was HORRIBE though. I'd finally get connected and it would continually drop, ALL THE TIME! Luckily I had a work tablet that had Verizon so I could hot spot my phone wi-fi through it, but such a pain. Also, although NOT their fault, if you dont have Verizon in this end of town you are out of luck when it comes to using your phone for calling anybody. I spend over 200 nights a year in hotels/motels. This is a small town, and I've stayed at a couple of others in the past year. But, because of the price point, the friendliness and courtesy of the owners/manager this is going to be my 'go to' place from now on. Yes, I get points for my loyalty status at other hotels in the area, but for the price and what you get here those points cant match the lower costs of Prairie Inn. I'll be making this my hoe base during the three weeks a year that I will be in Evanston.

Nice little place in Evanston Wyoming- free breakfast, comfortable bed, hot shower and nice rooms. Super quiet and safe- well lit parking lot. Affordable and friendly mom and pop place. Nice place to stay when passing through.

We stayed for one night while traveling through the West. The room was very spacious with 2 comfortable king-sized beds. The bathroom area had 2 sinks, with one of those in the vanity area. The room and bathroom were very clean. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the WiFi was very slow/non-existent in the evening. It was better in the morning. Also, there was a very sparse breakfast and the 3 containers of milk that we tried were sour, with one of those passed the selling date. Other than those 2 issues, it was a great place at a good price.

Simply an OK stop on cross country trip. Front desk fairly fairly rude both on check in and check out. Room was OK with comfort. Breakfast sparse. Great sunset when you went out the front door to edge of parking lot. Have not responded to our question about a lost item when every other establishment we stayed in graciously checked their lost and found. I know each location is independently owned but left a bad taste after pleasant stay night before in sister lodging.
