Just an overnight stay following a concert at Powderham. The family room was clean with tea, coffee making etc. The Galleon is on a very, very busy road and adjacent and very close to the main London to Penzance rail line. Trains are frequent. If you're going to stay here a back facing room may be better. Barmaid was friendly. Restaurant seems to be closed at the moment. We had breakfast at the Orangery in Powderham.

Advertised as having a restaurant but they do not do food. No breakfast available. Very expensive for a very basic noisy room overlooking a busy main road and a few yards from a mainline railway. We had a pleasant welcome but were charged £80 (I thought I had been told £60 but I may have got it wrong). The nearest place to eat is nearly a mile away.

Stayed at your establishment all over Christmas and new year and just wanted to say a big thank you for all the hard work you went too. Christmas was amazing but I must say New year was even better. Good friendly staff, and the pub was filled with so many friendly people that helped us feel welcome. The New year's free buffet was absolutely first class. So thank you. I have nothing but nice things to say about your place and to top it off our room was freshly made and very very clean. We will be back to support you even further. THANK YOU 😊

Like this pub/bb nice locals , good staff. Room really comfortable , very clean, lots of tea and coffee and milk. Management is very good and very happy to help with anything. Handy base for trips out . Will definitely recommend to friends and family and return next year .
