"Parking is by a private company & is extortionate because they know many stay on a business expenses account so don't care. Luckily free street parking right next to it if you don't mind moving it after 9. Other than that it was OK."

"Superb value. Under £50 for a basic but lovely clean, warm and comfortable double room with parking directly outside, topped off with a superb breakfast. If we’re ever in the area we will definitely stay again. Thank you so much."

"Because I went to school here seven years ago, this is the hotel closest to the train station. I came out and it didn’t take two minutes to walk. This time I came back for honeymoon. Because it’s close to the station, it’s convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are normal and soundproofed. The breakfast is too good. My daughter-in-law likes coffee. Costa’s special breakfast is better than holiday inn, but the room is not as good as the holiday inn in London. Next time I come to Ai Village, I will stay here again. Recommend BTW The second one is the Chinese restaurant we used to eat. The third one next is my student dormitory, not far from the hotel, and finally put a photo of my alma mater to miss cu next time."

"The location of this hotel is excellent! Lovely, quiet area and close to the cathedral and high street. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and the best pillows I’ve experienced in all my travels. The room had a kettle for tea and coffee and a hair dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. If you choose to have breakfast out, try the Cosy Club next door for a quirky atmosphere and delicious food!"

"It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good."

"A last minute booking as we were passing through Exeter visiting family. The room was decent with a comfy bed. There was a little noise from the courtyard outside playing music at night which stopped about 10pm. No issue. Great central location and a relaxed night. No complimentary toiletries 🧴not even a toothbrush 🪥- which is just a pain to have to go and buy them. I asked at reception and he just shook his head. 🤷♂️99% of hotels we stay at have them - seems a little tight 🤣 - anyway no issues with the room or location so we’d stay here again if needed. 👍"

"Very well placed for the Sandy Park Exeter Chiefs rugby club. The hotel is clean, staff helpful & friendly & maintained to a high standard. Food is a bit expensive but nice. Breakfast is buffet style & has many choices. We use this hotel regularly & recommend it"

"We booked our stay back in September and arrived yesterday just before 2pm. We were told our rooms wouldn’t be ready until 2pm, which was fine, but when we asked if we could leave our luggage, we were informed it would cost £5 per room to store it. At 2.25pm we returned to check in, only to be told again that the rooms still weren’t ready—yet suddenly we were offered luggage storage for free. Another receptionist then mentioned that one of our rooms was available, so we were able to leave all our bags there, which we appreciated. As for the room itself: the carpet was heavily stained, and both the beds and the flooring were very creaky. The bathroom, however, was spotless. On day two, we raised our concerns with the reception manager, who allowed us to store our bags free of charge. While this was helpful, the overall experience didn’t give us a great first impression of the hotel."
