Premier Inn Exeter Central St Davids

An ok hotel very near the train station. They were very short staffed just 2 staff running reception and the restaurant, also very strangely the staff told us not to have their baby cot as poor quality. Appreciate the honesty but would recommend this is sorted

Location is good and convenient. Suitable for a short stay.

Staying to see my son who studies at the university close by and my experience was awful to say the least male managers were drunk to the point where one couldn’t talk properly! Serving behind the bar. Made me feel very unsafe and I will not be returning

Great location, just opposite the train station, lovely quiet rooms with a comfy bed. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. They always go above and beyond to look after us. I have been at this premier inn for a number of months for work and there's a few people there who always made the experience special for us, such as Kelly, Ryan, Bobby , Kear and Millie and others who I have forgotten to name. They have always made me laugh, looked after me so well and if there was anything I needed they always helped as best they could. I will miss my trips to this hotel and lots of good memories. Thank you to the hard working staff who made it so special.

Pleased with the new Plus Room. Shower excellent, useful small (silent) fridge and coffee machine. Improvements with the more modern hair dryer and iron/ironing board. All you need to make the stay enjoyable.

Great location, right across from St. David's , never have to worry about missing the train. Stayed here for a night and had dinner inside due to rain. Overall, service was solid, food was spot-on, and prices were fair. The next day, our train got cancelled, but we could chill in the lobby until the next one. Despite being close to the station, it's super quiet. Only a 10-minute walk to the university, probably the closest hotel around. Definitely coming back next time!

Although we had a few problems team Premier Inn St David’s stepped up, particularly Ryan and Millie. The area is wonderful , we had a pre booked tour of Sanford Orchards Cider and ate in a fab Indian called Namaste .

Use premier inn regularly but don't think we would return to this particular one. It took over 30 minutes to check in dealing with 3 staff after the payment got lost after their system broke. Had to show my bank account to multiple staff to prove we had indeed paid and had to email them a screenshot of the payment going through which didn't seem very professional as the fault was not on our end. The bedroom was fine and clean enough however the window was very wet inside and out. During breakfast there was no clean tables although lots of empty ones and most of the breakfast was empty and slow to refill . I imagine they were short staffed . The coffee machine was broken and the juice was all empty The building itself was very tired. Pictures were out of the wall with holes left and lots of chipped paint . Could do with a general refresh Reasonable price and comfy beds

Front house Staff Unfriendly and couldn’t be bothered on arrival. Room clean. Parking is easy and opposite Premier Inn. Easy to catch taxi and opposite Train Station. Few minute drive to main City centre. Would book again although waiting 15 mins to get booked in was a little off putting.
