Great find and we said if we head to Devon again, it would be a great stop for a midway break. Outskirts of Exeter but the park and ride into the city is across the road. Exmouth is a short drive away. Nice hotel with a large car park, discounted if paid in the hotel. Staff were friendly, particularly Nikki and Mya. Room and bathroom were a good size and clean. There’s an air conditioning unit and a separate heater if needed too. Did not hear any traffic especially where the hotel is situated. Overall, a lovely stay.

Very well placed for the Sandy Park Exeter Chiefs rugby club. The hotel is clean, staff helpful & friendly & maintained to a high standard. Food is a bit expensive but nice. Breakfast is buffet style & has many choices. We use this hotel regularly & recommend it

The Exeter Court Hotel is in a great location which makes it easy to find. The rooms are bright and clean and there is a good supply of towels and toiletries. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and there was a good selection of items to choose from. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I am in the Exeter area!

The location and friendly,helpful staff were excellent.The food quality was as good as the most expensive restaurants we have dined at. The price of the food was less than charged by many other restaurants. Well done The Globe,we will return.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the scenery outside the window was very good. Some facilities such as a kettle have more scale, but it is also an understandable place. It will be very quiet at night overall, but it depends on whether the person living next door speaks loudly, otherwise you will clearly hear the noise of the human voice and have difficulty sleeping. This is also the only unsatisfactory point for me is the poor sound insulation. The restaurant in this hotel is very good, the breakfast is quite rich and the toast is very delicious. I believe this is one of the reasons I will choose to stay here. I hope to continue to maintain the advantages and try to improve the sound insulation problem, thank you.

As usual with my frequent visit to this area I find Woodbury Park hotel has been my preferred place to stay. Staff are lovely kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.

Our superior king room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Very large bathroom too with a large bath and separate shower cubicle. Bed was very comfortable and the room had lovely views. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We drove to the hotel from the A38 to the hotel and the lanes were narrow (as are many lanes in Devon and Cornwall) but the drive through Haldon Forest was beautiful. We drove out the other way through Ide village onto the A30 which was a bit wider! Would definitely stay again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gissons Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The ample on-site parking was a huge plus, making our arrival and daily outings completely hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-managed stay.

We stayed at the Premier Inn, as we had an event to attend in Exeter. It is a great position to get about. There is a Brewers Fayre next door, which is cheap and convenient. We stayed 2 nights and the parking was £16

We loved the proximity to town and the fact the Beefeaters is next door, which is convenient. The lady in reception was nice. It was a pleasant place to stay. They could do with airconditioning and the hot water wasn't very hot.
