This hotel is perfect for me, each and every stay, from parking, friendly and helpful staff and excellent rooms. Although its alongside a busy road, I have never heard the traffic and have the best sleep. The breakfast is unbelievably good. I have stayed in 100s of hotels over the years, all around the UK due to work but this breakfast is by far the tastiest I've ever had, poached eggs available on the buffet, always perfectly cooked and fried bread too. I could eat a plate of those mushrooms on their own. The sausages and bacon are fantastic too. I'll stop now as Ive made myself hungry. Awaiting an opportunity to take my partner on a break down that way and have her experience the hotel and food. Top marks.

Very good value,lovely room ,fridge n sky tv for 57 quid...excellent,double rooms and executive ones available too restaurant within the complex.

We go to Devon quite frequently and have stayed at The Devon many times I think it will be better when the road works have finished because getting in and out is difficult now Also the executive rooms are looking tired and could do with updating

We recently stayed at the Devon Hotel and I must say we really enjoyed ourselves we had a front facing room overlooking the road outside but we didn’t hear much noise all the time we were there, a lovely experience. We had breakfast in the coaches brasserie next door and it was amazing all cooked fresh and the service was excellent, we will be back

Had a lovely weekend stay, hotel in great location very clean, staff very attentive, i would have liked a choice of pilows in the room i prefer a harder pillow, but that is just personnal choice. Carriages restaurant was also really nice food and service was great. We would highly recommend the Devon Hotel.

The rooms are small but very comfortable and well appointed . All the plugs and mirrors in the right places . Bath with a shower over it . Good location and plenty of free parking. Despite being on a main road it was very quiet. Breakfast was an additional cost but it was very good in a lovely dining room . Staff were good.

The hotel is not as expected.It is more like a motel situated on a very busy A road.whilst the restaurant was excellent and the staff superb,the room we were given was not of the standard we were promised.We have stayed at a Brend hotel before and that was why we booked this one but it was not up to Brend standard.
