Great location, excellent service seamless check in, excellent polite and helpful staff Comfortable room and a high standard of cleanliness. I needed to get from Honiton to Great Torrington and would have arrived too late so needed a stop over between. Location was therefore the initial deciding factor but to have a luxurious and great value option was an extra bonus.

Great service, Diane was amazing on reception made us feel very welcomed, great stay with comfy beds, had an amazing time, would definitely recommended, room was clean and nice on arrival, with easy access to restaurant and city centre just a few minutes away.

Although the hotel is on a busy roundabout the rooms are set behind the Beefeater restaurant and are quiet. Check-in was friendly and efficient and the room was very neat and clean. Good access, 10 minute drive to city centre. There was a problem with the bathroom fan that ran and made different noises even when switched off. Hannah at reception offered a room change immediately and made sure everything was OK for us. The free WiFi was a bit slow and kept dropping out, probably to encourage people to pay for the premium WiFi. Overall it was the usual satisfactory no-frills experience you expect at the price.

Stayed the night to visit friends in town, not to long a walk along the river to the centre and a garage opposite for any thing needed if you don't fancy the somewhat depressing pub attached to it. For the price its a good night stay, surprised the room we had contained a bath with the shower! A welcome surprise

We had a lovely stay at Countess Wear. The building is in need of renovation but they make up for this with the friendly staff, in particular Hannah who was very helpful. We stay here often because of the warm welcome. An added bonus is free parking.

Hayden on the front desk was super helpful and lovely, the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy! Breakfast in the morning was fab, they were all very lovely especially Charlotte, it's a shame there wasn't a hot breakfast buffet as the staff were rushed off their feet.

Lovely clean room. Well equipped with tea and coffee etc. Lovely lighting and tv, all working well. Heating was very welcomed after a cold day out. Restaurant food very good, lovely staff working at the premier inn reception and in the beef eater restaurant. Lots of help and advice given about the local area . Hayden was lovely and obviously a very hard worker as was Charlotte who took our order for breakfast. Although the poor girl seemed rushed off her feet. Would stay again fo sho.
