Townhouse Exeter

I absolutely loved the Townhouse Exeter. Set in a grade 2 listed property, my room for the night was stylish and so comfortable. Truly a home away from home. You are welcomed by such delightful and warm hosts, who share their love and knowledge of the area. There’s a cute little lounge where you can relax with a drink and a stunning garden for those summer months. The best bit was the delightful and delicious breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. All in all, a five star stay. Looking forward to staying again.

Gorgeous house, super cozy and well thought out decoration, great art on the walls, VERY comfy beds, CLEAN,little aromatherapy sleep spray next to the bed, plugs everywhere, quiet. Great experience. We felt very very welcomed by the owners, who were so warm & helpful, from parking to restaurants to the perfect day out.

Very clean, tidy, comfortable and homely accommodation; tea/ coffee in the room and drinks available at the bar. Very welcoming hosts with good local knowledge and in a nice quiet part of town but within easy reach of the city centre and the quay and canal; thoroughly recommended

Happy to go back. The only issue was the noise when people were coming in or going out and banging the front door.

A delightful BnB! Everything was absolutely perfect. I was in room 7, with a separate bathroom with a tub (that I enjoyed immensely whilst I was there). Friendly and welcoming - with a delicious breakfast! Couldn’t fault it - will be going back.

Chose this property based on recent reviews, rooms very cosy and beds super comfortable. Big twin room very quiet to sleep, shower and toilet room bit cramped but adequate. It’s a 5 to 10 min walk from the centre, made us giggle as we walked past the prison and grave yard and thought oh no where are we going…. but don’t worry the place is lovely Hosts very welcoming The only thing we hadn’t thought about was that we arrived in Exeter at 12.30 but couldn’t take bags to the place until after 3 so had to carry them round the shops There is bag storage at the train station but we didn’t want to walk back and forth so managed and fortunately didn’t have bags that were too heavy. You may want to plan for this is you are going by public transport with luggage We went to the museum first, what a gem and then the cathedral and the market followed by a great evening meal at Bills Make sure you book to eat and drink as it gets really busy We thought Exeter was a great location for a weekend break
