Only stayed for a one night stop over but everything was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the room had a great view over the river. Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were great too. The hotel has recently had a very impressive makeover to a very high standard. Cannot fault and would happily recommend it.

Fabulous 3 night stay at The Mil, extremely comfortable bed, plenty of space, hot shower and some super meals in the restaurant. Breakfast choices brilliant. Entire hotel very tastefully decorated. Setting and proximity to everywhere excellent.

Gorgeous setting right by the River Exe. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Delicious breakfasts and drinks. Very comfortable bed. Our first room smelt of paint and the bath didn't drain well so we were moved to another room straight away which was bigger, better, quieter and at the back of the Old Mill. Loved the decor, fireplaces, photographs and pictures, very in keeping with the Old Mill. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The river location is superb and within easy walking distance of Exeter and the quay. Our room was recently refurbished to a very high standard and was superb. It's a lovely pub/hotel with friendly staff and fabulous views of the river and weir. The breakfasts were freshly cooked but took a very long time to arrive. Hopefully this will be addressed by the management team.

A good Riverside Hotel/pub
Direct access to Riverside footpath and cycleway, quite close to, but a bit of a climb to walk into the main town of Exeter

A very enjoyable experience. The hotel is well maintained & both the bedrooms & dining area are clean and tidy.The staff were very efficient & even when my wife asked to refine her dish the kitchen was most accommodating. Location spot on, we will return.

Friendly staff and lovely overall a**osphere and value for money with charm. Super comfortable beds too. A converted old paper mill on the river. It is now a restaurant/pub busy with a few room. It was busy with diners when we visited. It felt more restaurant than pub. I suppose in summer, when one sits outdoors it may be more of a pub? The rooms were quiet, well appointed, looking over the river and with comfortable beds. There’s also separate parking just for the hotel guests.
