The hotel environment is very quiet, beautiful and comfortable, clean and hygienic, and the staff are very warm and helpful. I sleep well, and the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. It is a good place to live for travel, and I will stay with my family if I have the chance in the future

It was very good stay. My only complaint is that I would’ve liked to have been able to lock the door of my bedroom on the inside. But otherwise the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the instructions were excellent.

A nice comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. 10 minutes walk from the City. Very friendly proprietor and an excellent breakfast with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options for just £5. We will definitely stay there again next time in Exeter.

I had a wonderful one night stay at the Telstar. Stayed in a single room with en-suite. Room was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Shower was perfect, lots of hot water, greatly needed after a long flight from Bangkok. They provided the best vegan breakfast too, offered milk alternatives for coffee and vegan butter for my toast. Very happy. Also very kind staff, I was able to leave my large suitcase with them for most of the afternoon before catching a train. Really lovely guesthouse would love to stay again thank you very much .

Spotlessly clean, Victorian furniture and ornaments used to great effect and some quirky corners! Had a ground floor room which was compact but by no means cramped. Small en-suite shower room always had hot water and was well ventilated. Room was at the back of the hotel and very quiet. All the staff were friendly and keen to help. When one of us left something behind Ben and Amy sorted it out and quickly posted the item back to us. City centre is only about 7 minutes away on good pavements.
