Highly commended. Procedure for entry was seamless. Andrew met us at the door and provided an excellent overview of apartment procedures, keys etc. Tiffany was happy to accommodate our early arrival. 1st floor facing the cathedral across the road quiet. Apartment clean and everything operating. Taxis outside the door if you needed one. Easy access to town facilities. We went everywhere on buses. Cafe around the corner in Glebe St -The Mustard&Fork - was an absolute gem. Ed and staff were such great hosts it was our goto cafe for breakfast each day.

For what was supposed to be a 'Superior Apartment ' it turned out to be a small cramped room with a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned.

The woman I phoned about payment and checking in was very nice and friendly. It states on ********** that check in was 1pm-6pm so we arrived in Falkirk from the north east of Scotland for a 1pm check but was then told that check in is not till 3pm so we had to wait a few hours. Getting the key is easy as it is just a key in a key safe, although another rooms key is also in there so I had to come back downstairs and put it back into the key safe. The bed and the pillows were comfy. I’m not sure they should be called apartments considering it was just a bed in a room (like any other hotel room). I tried to put a drink into the fridge and decided to take it back out again as there was a horrible smell in the fridge. There was also a horrible smell coming from the drawer above the fridge. The glasses that were available to use were also quite stained and unclean. The bathroom was a good size and had a spacious shower. Also the towels were a good size. Personally do not think that the room was worth the price.

Kelpies Serviced Apartments in Falkirk was very conveniently located - just a couple of minutes walk from Falkirk Grahamston station and a half hour walk to our gig venue. However, the "apartment" was no more than a glorified bedsit and certainly nothing like the lovely photos on the website. It was no bigger than many hotel rooms and featured a wall mounted microwave, sink and mini fridge in one corner of the room. If I book an apartment, I expect to have a decent amount of space to move about in. Despite the booking saying the apartment would have a king size bed, it was a double bed crammed into a small space beside a sloping ceiling. I am not tall by any stretch of the imagination, but found myself having to stoop on more than 1 occasion. A very small table was also positioned below an area of sloping ceiling. All in all, I did not consider this value for money and would be unlikely to book here again.

I recently stayed at Kelpies Serviced Apartments on Newmarket Street and really enjoyed my stay. They were in the town so an Asda was just down the road and loads of restaurants nearby. There was also a retail park which was less than a 5 min walk away. I was in room 2 facing the front and it was a nice outlook. The room was spotless and the bed was really comfy. All the staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying again and have recommended to some of my friends/family too.

I would have given less than 1 star but this is not available. We stayed over the Easter weekend- booked through ***********. I would say this was one of the worst apartments ever booked and paid for. The entire flat was run down dirty, filthy and dusty. I have got pictures and video's of the flat with dust on the heater. The evening we arrived the heating and TV was not working, so we called the number on the guest book- the lady just said she cant do anything and will look at it in the morning. The next day we realized hot water was not working? We did not have hot water for all 3 nights. We had a 2 twin bedroom flat and we were just a couple and my daughter, They had 1 single bed made up for us in each room. It was just a disaster stay. And then to top all up, they charged £45 of our HOUSEKEEPING deposit to say I didn't informed them about my daughter? SERIOUSLY. Please refund my £45 with immediate effect. This is ILLLEGAL. This is a Day light robbery.

I recently stayed at Kelpies Serviced Apartments and loved how the room was spotless and the bed was so comfy. We visited the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel while we were there and they were really close by. The apartments are right in the town centre and cafes restaurants/bars are literally a 2 min walk away. I loved how the apartments felt so safe with the fob entry system and check in via the key box was so easy. The apartment was a good size and had the added bonus of a little kitchenette with small sink, microwave, kettle, small fridge to store food (which we loved) which was great to heat some meals up while we were there rather than eating out every night like we would have to do if we stayed in a hotel rather than an apartment. It was a little bit noisier on the weekends but this was to be expected with it being right in the town centre and quietened down at a reasonable time. There wasn't any parking as such but this didn't bother us as there was parking right behind the apartment block which was free from 3pm to 8:45am. If we wanted to leave the car all day we could do so at the Falkirk Grahamston Train Station 2 minutes away. There was no lift however we knew this before we arrived and we loved the spiral staircase it really added a lot of character to the building. From the pictures online it is exactly what we expected and better and we will definitely be recommending this place to all of our family & friends. Staff were super friendly too, can't wait to come back

Not an apartment too small, small sink and a few cupboards it’s a small room. No fire extinguishers, hidden in cupboard, no fire action or exit signs or alternative escape route. Couple of emergency lights not working and place felt very unsafe, the mini lock boxes that store the “room” keys has had the same code for a long time so not safe. Dirty hairs in bed stains on carpet hairs in shower glass. Velcro on curtains, electrics not pat tested. No parking noisy at front bad views at the back, pictures are very deceiving and the stairs are unsafe and should not be deemed as a fire escape. I am a health and safety professional and I am shocked this place has been deemed safe by fire authority and council.
