Room was okay, view was the bins of the restaurant and council depot. The biggest problem was the WiFi. First I tried the free wifi - it was awful. I then paid £5 for 24 hours of the ‘ultimate’ wifi, that was worse. Also there’s no Vodafone signal either, so I couldn’t use my phone either.

Toilet leaked and hole in floor which had been covered up by Lino Restaurant has staffing issues so have to pre book otherwise you can’t eat there

Attending a wedding near Bentley for which the inn was a base. We needed facilities like an iron which we got when we asked but no ironing board. The mugs etc used for tea in the room were not collected/cleaned the next day, I guess we’d have had to ask if we wanted service like this. A room without the facility to open the window was odd.

Nice clean rooms within a modest walk of the town centre. Friendly staff and a good cooked breakfast available

Clean, comfortable large rooms. Friendly staff. Air conditioning very efficient, easy to operate and adjustable within room. Ridiculous system of entering restaurant to be told to return to hotel to book. Gives impression of being understaffed. At over £100 a night, the trend of room not being served every day without specifically requesting, does not give good impression. Neither does finding no one on reception. Staff sometimes having to dart between hotel and restaurant and having only one person serving can meam a lengthy wait for food.

Aircon didn’t work so room was stuffy, breakfast service and food was not good, waited 50 minutes for cooked breakfast and some of it not really edible. Bar not open until 6pm

We have stayed in this premier inn before and couldn’t fault anything about it then. We recently booked again as it is an ideal location to visit family. Safe to say our experience second time around was not the best. Firstly we discovered the beefeater had now closed. We planned to entertain our family there. The premises still serves meals but after getting through to the automated phone msg they only catered for guests of premier inn so we had to find an alternative venue. Secondly the air conditioning in our room was totally ineffective. We had the most uncomfortable night as the windows couldn’t be opened and no fan was in the room. We eventually got up 3am, packed and checked out 04:30. I did bring this up with reception and they suggested they could control air con and they would put on cold. Nothing changed. It saddens me to have to right a negative review because we love premier inn and rarely have any negatives.

Was a complete disaster and horror show. Paid for my room online ,I was told the system was down at 12.00 PM and then told I could not stay in the hotel!Crazy. Then was told I needed to call the help line office hours to sort out the issue. So had to go to another hotel.
