Cala la Luna Resort

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would without hesitation after our week-long experience at Cala la Luna. The only bright spot in this disappointing experience was the hotel's location, conveniently close to the city center. The standard of the rooms was also positive, for the most part. From the beginning, the welcome from the ladies at the reception was anything but warm, with an attitude that seemed to depend on their degree of friendliness towards customers. Breakfast, unfortunately, was a complete disappointment: inferior quality croissants, the total absence of fruit (apart from a few Kiwis with the consistency of Cala Rossa rocks) and a coffee to be prepared independently with a machine which to define as horrible would be a compliment. . The result was an undrinkable drink - all this in Italy. The staff in the room did nothing to improve the situation. Once they mixed salt packets with sugar, turning my coffee into a salty drink. When reporting it, the breakfast manager not only ignored our complaint, but even laughed in my face, demonstrating an unprofessional attitude. Sometimes they said hello, sometimes they didn't. They started chatting among themselves rather than helping the customer. The request for privacy for our room on a special day was completely ignored, and when we returned, they nonchalantly informed us that there had been a lack of communication and that they had come in anyway. The cleaning of the room was done with the same casualness as the rest in that hotel: sometimes it was cleaned well, other times we found the garbage bag left in the room, the kitchen was not cleaned for 3 days in a row, even if we communicated . We were now used to getting towels in the corridor. The animation, far from engaging, was a real tragedy. A rude and rude entertainer constantly disturbed our holiday, going so far as to rudely interrupt an important call from my girlfriend, always with a cigarette in his mouth and an unpleasant attitude. Another time he chased us to the port of Favignana, always with a cigarette in his mouth. After experiencing all these disturbances, we decided to speak to the front desk to express our concerns. However, the promise to report matters to the director remained just an empty promise. We only discovered on the day of departure, when the manager himself accompanied us to the ferry, that our complaints were never taken seriously. A bitter ending to a holiday we would have liked to forget. In conclusion, we cannot recommend Cala la Luna to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. We hope that management seriously addresses these issues to improve service and make the experience more positive for future guests.

Strategic position to reach the centre, the port and the coves by bike. Breakfast certainly needs improvement with packaged products and poor variety of products, perhaps because it is at the end of the season. Few staff present, except for two or three people of the entire staff, excellent cleanliness of the rooms.

The rooms are poorly insulated. We were kept awake due to rude neighbors playing music until 3am. We notified the front desk with little success. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. If you can choose another place .

Il resort ha una posizione comoda: a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di favignana e dal porto. E' possibile raggiungere le spiagge più belle della parte est di Favignana con 10-20 minuti di biciletta. Le camere non sono nuovissime, ma sono sufficientemente grandi e abbastanza pulite. Purtroppo sono rimasto deluso dalla colazione: cibo confezionato, brioches non di pasticceria e in generale poca sicilianità. Altra nota negativa lo staff: i responsabili della colazione molto scortesi, gli addetti alla pulizia che fumano vicino alla finestra della camera mentre aspettano che la liberi, l'animazione quasi assente. Altra nota da migliorare: gli orari della piscina che è aperta solo dalle 9 alle 13 e dalle 15 alle 19.

Abbiamo pranzato pur non essendo ospiti del resort. Ci simo trovati molto bene: ottima location, piatti squisiti dall'antipasto al secondo, personale cortese. Ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. Torneremo senz'altro!

Arrivati la reception ci ha accolti in maniera perfetta!!! Da qui è iniziata l’agonia… Considerando che avremo dovuto starci 1 giorno il check in per l’ingresso avviene alle 16:00 pm ma… tenete aperte le orecchie!!! Il Check out il giorno dopo deve avvenire alle 9:00 am!!! Diciamo che già qua non ci siamo, ma poi siamo andati di corsa la mattina per provare a fare un bagno nella piscina, senza avvertirci sin dall’inizio era necessaria la cuffia, la colazione invece aveva prodotti di poca qualità e veramente di poca scelta, il personale era un po’ così e così… va bè dai, in sostanza, non lo consiglio per le vacanze!!! C’è sicuramente di meglio!

Appartamentini comodi , spaziosi e ben arredati. Piscina giusta per una nuotata prima e dopo il mare. Colazione buona idem ristorante la sera. Angolini per relax dopo cena allietati dalla tastiera e dalla voce calda del Maestro magari dopo una visita al bazar della gentile e simpatica Daniela. Insomma, una vacanza indimenticabile che spero di ripetere la prossima estate. Ah, un plauso per la loro gentilezza e disponibilità, anche all’animatore Riccardo e a Lorena responsabile della sala colazioni e ristorante. Starete in ottime mani!

Small, cute establishment with a swimming pool area. Staff is quite friendly. We asked for a quiet room (far from the noise of the entertainment). We weren't bothered. It is located a stone's throw from the center of Favignana and 10 minutes by bike from the beautiful Lido Burone beach.

Esperienza pessima, fortemente sconsigliato,igiene scarsa. Mancanza di acqua potabile,ruggine presente all'interno della stanza e all'interno della struttura, mancata manutenzione. La prima notte è stata un incubo:la camera che oltretutto non corrispondeva a quella da noi prenotata, si affacciava sui bidoni della spazzatura dell'hotel.
