This was the most charming Riad we have experienced so far… they went out of their way to make us comfortable, even cooking us some late night omelets! The courtyard was beautiful and we spent a great deal of time there socializing as well as on the rooftop.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The room we got had a rooftop terras with an amazing view over the old medina of Fes. The staff is very friendly, everything is very clean and the breakfast and dinner is delicious! I would recommend anyone to stay here if you’re visiting Fes!

Très beau séjour au Riad Letchina avec des amis en Avril 2023. Tout y était : le riad authentique et décoré avec goût, le patio et son petit jardinet intérieur et ses petits recoins, les chambres et salles de bains avec du tadellakt traditionnel....une belle terrasse qui domine la médina et les beaux minarets. Le mot de la fin est pour l'accueil et l'excellence du service: Mohammed et Saïd pour la gestion, Fatima le cordon bleu (demandez lui une pastilla et un couscous, vous verrez...) assistée par la discrète Zineb, et Rachid aux petits soins de tous les instants. Excellent, rien à dire! On y retournera les yeux fermés !

This is a wonderful old Riad with its beginning in the 14th century. Steep stairs lead down from the street to the main floor and others lead to the guest rooms on various levels and all the way up to the panoramic view point on the roof. We were there in the end of January 2023 while Fès suffered through an unusually cold spell. These old Riads are designed to be well ventilated in the heat of summers and although the room had a reversible split pack to heat and cool, our few days at Riad Letchina were a good reminder how spoiled we are to have a well climatized home. On the other hand, how spoiled must we be in this era of climate change?
The staff at Riad Letchina makes up for all idiosyncrasies! Truly welcoming and eager to help us plan our days in and around Fès, organizing excellent tours by car and by foot. The Riad is a small alley or two away from commerce which makes for a lovely quite experience and thanks to Fatima’ excellent cooking we enjoyed quite dinners “at home”. We could not have asked for anything else!

Said's kindness and availability was always excellent, already well before arrival, to book cars, tours, etc. in advance. Comfortable bed and unexpectedly excellent hairdryer. The breakfast is very good. The four dinners consumed by choice, always in the Riad, with dishes exclusively from Moroccan cuisine, surprised us very positively, thanks also to the skill of the cook and the quiet and relaxing environment. From the terrace the view of the Medina is extraordinary and the location of the Riad is very convenient for diving into the chaos of the Medina in 3 minutes; it takes just as many to exit the Ziad Gate and find yourself outside the walls. We had an experience that we recommend and would gladly do again.
