"This was a very nice Riad we stayed at. The Moroccan decor was very nice. Rooms are on 3 floors. The Riad is a short walk from the location where vehicles will drop you. The rooms on the upper floors do require a climb up some narrow stairs. But ok otherwise. The bed was really large as well. We needed a little getting used to knowing that "C" stands for Chaud (hot, French) and not Cold. Breakfast was quite good and filling. "

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unexpected Moroccan traditional courtyard experience! ** The **Volubilis Hotel** that I stayed at in Fez this time was really great! The hotel is located in the old city of Medina, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Blue Gate of Boujilou. The location is super convenient. As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the Moroccan traditional courtyard. The mosaic tiles and carved wooden doors are super atmospheric and beautiful for taking pictures! Special thanks to our Chinese tour guide **Director Lin (WeChat: **********)**, who helped to book a price cheaper than the platform and upgraded the suite for free! The room was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the terrace overlooked the panoramic view of the old city of Fez. Director Lin also recommended a super authentic tagine restaurant near the hotel, which was much better than the Internet celebrity restaurant! The hotel service is also very considerate. The front desk is fluent in English and helped arrange airport pick-up and local SPA. You must try the mint tea and honey pancakes for breakfast! If you come to Fez, I strongly recommend staying here. Find Director Lin (WeChat as above) to book and you can also get a desert group coupon, which is super cost-effective!"

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was the most culturally rich hotel I stayed at during my trip to Morocco. The black and white room design subtly exuded luxury, and the room facilities were complete. The hotel security gave me a sense of security. The breakfast was average and not to my taste, but it was acceptable. There are two Chinese restaurants within a ten-minute walk of the hotel. I chose "Great Wall Restaurant" for two consecutive nights. The portions were large and the food was delicious; I would recommend it. There is a supermarket within a five-minute walk of the hotel."

"Tucked behind a beautiful door in the maze of the Andalou quarter in the Medina . A painstaking renovation of a former 17th century building . Rooms and public spaces are all carefully curated to provide an authentic and luxurious feel . Breakfast was excellent and the preordered dinner superb . But the real attraction here are the staff . Friendly , engaging , helpful and knowledgeable. They make sense of the chaotic Medina and provide an atmosphere of calm and respite . Parking , luggage , restaurant recommendations, attractions, guides nothing is too much trouble . Or guide Ahmad arranged by the hotel was amazing . Our 12,000 step Medina tour went by in a flash . His English was impeccable, his knowledge of the Medina encyclopedic . We never felt pressured to buy , but were guided to items we wanted to shop for as he supported us in choice, and the ever present negotiation . If we chose to linger over shopping, drinks or lunch he adjusted the tour in real time . A true professional. An excellent stay on all levels."

"The Riad has beautiful traditional decoration and a strong local atmosphere, making it a good place to experience Moroccan-style accommodation. However, the location is quite difficult to find, and some locals may try to scam visitors by claiming the road is closed and offering to guide them for tips. The hotel facilities also have some limitations. The sound insulation is quite poor, and hearing arguments from neighbouring houses late at night was not a pleasant experience. There were also occasional unpleasant smells in the bathroom, the TV in the room was not working, the actual check-in time was delayed due to room cleaning, and there were many flies around during breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. Overall, considering the price, the Riad may be considered above the local average standard, but there is still a noticeable gap compared with international accommodation standards. It is worth staying for one night to experience the local style, but I would not recommend a longer stay."

"The riad is located on the edge of the medina, a 25-30 minute walk from the busy tourist area. It's best not to walk in the evening, as it can be unsafe. The room was large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast consisted mainly of sweets and pastries, but it was delicious. The staff was friendly."

"We had an incredible stay at Hotel Royal Urban Concept for our anniversary trip! We spent two nights here with the family and everything was top-notch. The room was spotless, super comfortable, and they surprised us with fresh rose petals for our special celebration, which was so thoughtful. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious with typical Moroccan specialties to start the day right. It was an extremely perfect base for exploring Fes since it is only about 10 minutes by taxi to the Medina and an easy 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. The staff made us feel so welcome throughout our visit. We will definately come back next time we are in Morocco!"
