Dar D'or Fes
"The raid owner and his staff members were all very helpful and friendly. My husband was suffering from gout and had difficulty in walking. They greeted us at our tour drop off point and took care of our luggage. Since we arrived late, we ordered their dinner and it turned out to be a great decision as the meal was just delicious. The Raid is quiet and easy to access, highly recommended."
Riad Mayfez Suites & Spa
"Wow! Riad Mayfez was a highlight of our tour around Morocco. This stunning, elegant, traditional Riad in the heart of Fez, was an oasis of peace and comfort. We were so wonderfully well looked after by all the lovely staff who attended to our every need and made the effort to befriend and understand us in a short space of time. We miss them - management, wait staff, chef, house keeping - everyone. Everything was lovely. The suite was spacious and beautifully designed with the comfiest bed and lovely balcony and bathroom. The food was delicious and the dining settings, outside in the courtyard or inside in the dining room, with wonderful music and romantic atmosphere were so conducive to relaxing meals and good conversation. The pool was pretty and refreshing. The rooftop at sunset overlooking all of Fez has stayed in our hearts . Mayfez - a magical place to remember forever. Highly recommend."
Riad Braya
"We had a wonderful stay at this riad in Fes. The riad is beautifully modern while still maintaining a warm and authentic atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with large beds that made for a great night's sleep ."
Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan Palace
"Overall happy with the stay."
Barceló Fès Medina
"Amazing service - clean facilities- staff helpful - just amazing overall stay - food was amazing at the restaurant- was staying during afcon and even with the hustle and bustle of the hotel being a host for a football club . The hotel was exceptionally amazing - walkable to a lot of cafes and restaurants"
Mia Urban Fes
"Very well located hotel, not far from the old town Fes and near to the airport! The staff are so extremely kind and welcoming and polite. I felt relaxed. Lovely hot shower and great food. Would highly recommend. The will help with anything they can help with."
Ibis Fes
"Excellent network hotel, convenient location near the station. Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff"
Hôtel Volubilis
"Very good the price is worth it"
Royal Mirage Fes Hotel
"Nice hotel, it was good staffs and amenities. Cleanliness was good that I stayed with confortable. Highly recommend to stay here! But one of concern is Wi-Fi is weak in your room. However even if you detect these deficiencies, it is great hotel."

Palais Médina Riad Resort
"Very nice hotel top"
Hotel & Spa Dar Bensouda
"The hotel is very tired and needs refurbishment. This place is only for younger people seeking “authentic” experience. We were two couples in our 70.s. The lighting in the room is dim and the rooms dingy. It was very tricky to get to from our travel bus- we had to walk 15 minutes along winding dark lanes and one of our group had a sore knee. Our room had 14 steps to the bathroom and toilet, which is not easy for those who need to go to the toilet in the night. There is no TV and no ability to make tea or coffee in the room. It certainly was not our cup of tea."
Palais Faraj Suites & Spa
"Honest Review – Palace Faraj, Fez (October 2025) My wife and I stayed at Palace Faraj for three nights at the end of October 2025. I wanted to share our experience both to inform other travelers and to offer constructive feedback for management, in the hope it may support future improvements. I also must add that majority or review on TripAdvisor are by tour guides and operators which give skewed overall ratings. 1. Location – Excellent (5/5) The location is truly ideal — within a short walking distance to the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) and the old Medina, where most shops, cafés, and restaurants are located. The neighborhood feels safe and easy to navigate, with minimal risk of getting lost. 2. Architecture and Ambience – Exceptional (5/5) The building itself is magnificent. The mosaics, art pieces, courtyards, and salons are stunning and full of detail. The design and décor are aesthetically rich and reflect authentic Moroccan artistry. Simply put, the structure and ambience are what make this property special. 3. Staff and Service – Poor (2/5) This is where Palace Faraj falls short. While the staff seem generally polite, they are not well trained or service-oriented. Communication is minimal, and requests are often met with a nod but no follow-up. We received bottled water on the first day, but none on subsequent days — even the bottles we had brought ourselves were removed from our room. These small oversights added up and gave the impression of inattention and lack of hospitality. 4. Hammam and Spa – Very Disappointing (1/5) This was the most concerning part of our stay. We were looking forward to a traditional and relaxing Moroccan Hammam, but instead had a distressing experience. The heat gauge was faulty, and the temperature exceeded what felt like 120°F. My skin was burning, and despite repeated pleas to lower the heat, the attendant did not seem to understand or take the situation seriously. I had to leave early, feeling faint and nauseous, and spent half an hour cooling down with cold water. When we spoke to the manager, she seemed indifferent and only mentioned that a technician might fix the valve later — with no apology or gesture of goodwill. Unlike other Hammams we’ve visited in Morocco, we were not offered tea, water, or any refreshments. Overall, the spa staff appeared indifferent and poorly supervised. 5. Massage – Inconsistent (2.5/5) My massage experience was fairly good, but my wife’s was disappointing. Her therapist seemed inexperienced, possibly still in training. While both therapists were kind and well-meaning, it was clear that professional training and consistency were lacking. 6. Overall Impression – Beautiful but Mismanaged (2.5/5) Palace Faraj has tremendous potential — the architecture and location are top-tier, but the service, staff training, and guest care are far below what one would expect from a property of this caliber. We had hoped to return next year with our family, but unfortunately, after this exp"
Zalagh Parc Palace
"Lovely grounds and interior. Bedroom clean and good shower. Staff very friendly. Good buffet selection but plates cold and sometimes some food not hot enough either."
Palais de Fès Suites & Spa
"Wonderful stay as a family of 5. We stayed in the Sultana suite and it was perfect for us. Lots of room to relax and hang out but also felt very cozy and welcoming. I did a hammam bath service at the hotel spa and loved it! Chaimae was my hammam attendant and I had a really relaxing lovely experience that I would highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again."
Riad le Sucrier de Fès
"We were very well received in this magnificent historic Riad in Fez. Souad and Youssef were adorable and very good advisors. The Riad is ideally located: restaurants nearby; the nearby medina; Batha Square and its taxis 150 m away."
Riad Maison Bleue and Spa
"Lovely place, Clean Property and wonderful staff! Located near the center of the Medina ! a place where you feel like family"
Riad Jamaï
"The hotel is beautiful! It doesn't seem from outside and when you enter it surprises you ! It's like a palace ! And the charming staff , they help you in everything !"
Riad Mazar
"Finding this place in the old town on my first solo trip was a delightful surprise! The hotel's decor is exquisite and rustic, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The staff and owner speak good English. It's a guesthouse converted from a traditional mansion, definitely worth experiencing! 🥰🙏"
Palais Shazam & Spa
"Our stay at Palais Shazam & Spa was perfect from start to finish. The spa was incredible and very relaxing, the food was delicious, and the staff were truly amazing, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Every service exceeded our expectations and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!"
Riad Said
"If I ever return to Fes, I will definitely stay here again. In contrast to its historic and traditional charm, the rooms were incredibly clean and beautiful. Waking up to nothing but the sound of birds chirping in the morning was a dream. Every detail of the interior was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is actually much easier to find compared to other accommodations in Fes. However, I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first and unfortunately got scammed by a fake guide—so please be careful! Also, keep in mind that the stairs are quite steep. Aside from those points, my stay was absolutely perfect."
Riad Dar Laura
"This riad is gorgeous with lots of charm and personality. The owner used to live here with his family before they decided to turn it into a Riad. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast was great. The hammam is amazing. I stayed lots of places around Morocco and this has been my favorite!"
Hotel Mounia
"Great breakfast, atmosphere was nice, rooms were pretty good just wish there was some sort of refrigerator"
Riad Alya
"This riad is easily reachable from driveable roads, so it isn't a tough journey to get to! The area surrounding the riad is also very clean, and makes it easy to reach everything there is to see in Fes. The traditional welcome was a lovely experience, especially as the courtyard is very grand and feels palatial. We were in the room that is directly off of the courtyard, which was massive (including the bathroom). Sleep quality and temperature was excellent. Noise was not an issue, even when there was live (traditional) music in the courtyard on one of the nights. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient, and the staff were all great and helpful...even making the breakfast to go for us on the day that we did a day tour to Chefchouaen."
Riad Myra
"My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Riad Myra for two nights. What a spectacular riad. It blew us away. The service matched the wonderful facility. Be prepared for a real treat. Even the breakfasts were great! We look forward to a return trip."
Riad Sidrat Fes
"Incredible stay with exceptional people in a beautiful home! The Riad is beautiful and clean. The location is perfect , in the Medina and close to a main parking lot. The Room was perfect it was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The staff was what was really special they truly make you feel at home! Breakfast was very good and the food recommendation for dinner was great! We cannot wait to stay here for much longer next time!"
Riad Baba
"Although it's tucked away, you can find it easily by following Google Maps. During check-in, they kindly showed me around Fes on a map. They were also really flexible and helpful when I needed to change my booking dates last minute. On my last day, when I mentioned I had an early train at 7 AM, they even packed a takeaway breakfast for me. I stayed for 3 nights and had a very satisfying visit. Thank you!"
Riad Dar Mazaj Fes
"Located in the center of Fez medina. Well preserved riad. Very friendly staff who helped to carry my luggage up to upper floors. There is rooftop rest area for a good view of the alleys in the medina. Breakfast is very good with many variety of spread, bread, egg and juices. Although can be quiet & deserted after 9pm in the riad surroundings, location is convenient to move ard the medina. There is a small Tannery nearby."
Riad Adarissa
"Stayed at Riad Adarissa and honestly had such a lovely experience 🇲🇦✨ Everything was very good. The location is a bit secluded — we definitely got lost trying to find it for the first time 😅 but that’s part of the medina experience and not really a problem. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Room was very comfy, and the whole riad felt quiet, peaceful, and relaxing after the busy streets outside. One thing that really touched us — we had to check out very early for our next journey, and the management prepared bread and water for us as bekal for the trip 🥹 Small gesture, but truly memorable. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful stay in Fes."
