The experience we had at another Riad set very, very high expectations, so read this with that in mind :)
I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much.

Riad molto elegante, ristorante con cucina eccellente, esperienza dell’ hammam da consigliare assolutamente. Si può trascorrere una bellissima serata romantica . Giardino interno e terrazza incantevoli . Personale attento e disponibile ad aiutarvi in qualsiasi cosa. Ambiente raffinato rivolto ad una clientela di qualità .

I returned to Fes this year largely so I could return to this hotel. A grand palace restored magnificently and filled with a mix of Moroccan antiques and contemporary pieces that blend perfectly. A labyrinth of stairs, corridors, sitting rooms, centered around the principal courtyard planted with lemon trees and alive with the sound of the fountain and chirping birds. I could stay there forever.

What a surprise, after you walk through the doors and into the riad, you are transported . It’s magical !!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The staff , the food , the service , all superb.

Nous avons découvert le Riad Laaroussa à l'occasion d'un hammam et d'un massage inoubliable. L'endroit est absolument magique et de toute beauté : patio très raffiné à la décoration soignée, et rooftop offrant une vue imprenable sur Fès. Tout le personnel est d'une gentillesse remarquable ( avec une pensée particulière pour notre jeune serveuse et pour le patron) . Si nous devons revenir à Fès, c'est là que nous logerons !

This is one of the nicest small hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Great rooms, lovely decor, and a team with the greatest — and genuine — commitment to making your stay perfect, warm and welcoming. I heartily recommend the restaurant and the hammam, and would be glad to return. (And I am a pretty tough judge!)

I recently stayed at this exceptional property. This gorgeous former home of the Minister of War from over a hundred years ago has been beautifully restored and decorated. They offer a delicious rooftop breakfast, helpful staff, and have an onsite Hammam.

This charming riad features a stunning, centrally-located garden and a rooftop restaurant offering picturesque views. However, please note the absence of elevators. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and attentive. First-time visitors might find navigating to the Riad somewhat challenging. The riad offers a service of a private porter and transportation from the station for 150 DH (approximately 15 USD).
