Great Stay, with amazing workers.

This is the best hotel with just the perfect location. Everyone was just wonderful and everything was exceptionally clean... 5 star hotel!!

Apart from being a little noisy at night, the hotel was very good with helpful staff. Breafast was excellent as was the location.

Great stay! Lovely rooms, clean and a great size. Fantastic shower!! Such a lovely hotel. Staff were great. Only thing is we did not see the name Rivalta at all so was hard to know if we were at the right spot. Rest of the stay was great. Location is wonderful. We walked everywhere. Would stay here again.

Close to all attractions and great restaurants too. They were very accommodating as our first room was a bit too small and they found us something that worked a little better with our amount of luggage. Clean rooms, great front desk, also bell men were super helpful!

Warm welcome on arrival , although we had an issue with parking as the allocated spot was being used by a van. Had to park in disabled bay while the hotel staff sorted out the parking. Taken to our room no 421in the main building. Looked as if we were in a 5 star hotel bedroom. Lovely furnishing and a jacuzzi bath. All tastefully decorated. The umbrella in the room for our use was a real blessing as unfortunately it rained a few times during our trip. We also booked another room for my children, no 207 in the old part of the hotel. They were amazed at the size of it and the jacuzzi as well. They were surprised that they had such a quality room and thought they were in the wrong room. Downside in being in the older part of the hotel was that to go to the reception or the gym , you had to go through the open courtyard- Breakfast had a great selection of food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only down side is that the scrambled eggs, bacon and bean stew were tepid if not cold but we could get a freshly fried egg on order if needed. The location was excellent. Few minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and the main sites of Florence. The car was parked away from the site but would be brought back for us when needed, with less than half an hour wait. Although, Florence is walkable we used the car to have a look at the local scenery and the shopping outlet to the North of Florence. All in all a lovely stay at the amazing hotel and the beautiful city of Florence.

I’m not a big reviewer but I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to warn anyone who is looking to stay here. There is 1 good thing about the place, the location. Here are the cons: 1. Rooms are dirty, after checking in and I walked into the room, I can still see the water marks from the mopping, I reckon this is from the housekeeping just finishing up the preparations, which is fine except when looking at the water marks, you can clearly see it was a rushed job. They were actually still cleaning another room right across from mine as well and they were really out of breathe trying to get things done. I dare not take my shoes off or touch any surfaces after seeing that. 2. 1 tiny elevator in the whole hotel. Be prepared to wait in line for the elevator. 3. Dirty and worn down, from lobby to hallways. Couldn’t emphasize this enough but they claim to be a newer hotel, the place looks like it’s been opened for 30 years without any up keeping. 4. Staff- I actually didn’t have a problem with the staff except for the fact that in front of the lobby is an outdoor courtyard. When we came back down after checking in there were 3 of them just sitting there smoking (including the person who checked me in). This was literally 5 steps away from the lobby entrance, quite unprofessional. If you’re looking for a 2 star hotel at a 5 star price, this is your place. The vibes were completely off. After we left to go walk around, I couldn’t stand the thought of being there so I went back and took my all our luggages and just checked out and moved to a different place. There were other complications with that as well such as not being able to get even a partial refund, wasn’t much flexibility because of the fact that they couldn’t sell their rooms and that I booked a non-refundable room (usually some friendlier places will allow for a refund if you’re unsatisfied, this place of course, doesn’t). My standard is high but it’s not extremely high, trust me when I tell you stay away.
