The hotel check-in experience was very bad: 1. There was no service staff and no clear self-check-in instructions. It took us more than three hours to complete the check-in process. The entire check-in process was thanks to the help of three Italians who lived in the same B&B. 2. The hotel charged an extra 10 euros in urban construction tax. 3. The room was never cleaned during the three-day stay.

I really don't recommend staying here. Don't be fooled by fake reviews. I'm writing my first review so that more people will be fooled. As others have written, it was the worst. I wish they would allow 0 stars. Check-in time is listed as (15:00-18:00). Late check-in after 18:00 will cost 30 euros, and late check-in after 23:00 will cost 50 euros (local cash only). This additional fee was not stated at the time of booking. This is not a hotel, but actually an apartment room. There is mold in the bathtub. Also, the check-in location and the room you will be staying in are far apart, and it takes 20 minutes to walk. (It is also 15 minutes to walk from the nearest station to the check-in location.) Even if you search for the address on Google Maps, a different location will be displayed, so I recommend using Apple Maps. (It's best not to stay here.) I didn't know the way, so I contacted the hotel many times, but I didn't get a reply, so I ended up wandering around in the middle of the night. Trip.com states that the city tax is 11 euros, but in reality it is 14 euros, so be careful. (The best thing to do is not stay here.) It's a really awful feeling.

Nothing wrong with the hotel itself and the location is very convenient. The problem lies in trip.com. When booking small European hotels, many of them use selfcheckin. We need a platform like trip.com to communicate with the hotel about the check-in situation of the guests. The hotel should communicate in advance how to complete the self-check-in and pay the local tax. However, trip.com will only be responsible for using its own registration information to complete low-price reservations, and then transfer high-priced reservations to guests, but it is easy to ignore the follow-up selfcheckin process before guests check-in. The hotel does not know how to contact the guests, because the reservation information is a third-party agency. This journey took me an hour to communicate with the hotel many times in the rain to complete the check-in information and wait. Fortunately, the hotel is very helpful. However, if Trip has followed up and served customers with intentions, this problem will not arise. It seems to be a problem with the hotel or the guests.

Establishment to FLEE! (It's not a hotel, don't be fooled) Context : Reservation made for a stay from April 11 to 13. In order to warn of our delay, I sent an email (questionable email address) + numerous calls (ten). NO RESPONSE, impossible to have an exchange… Arrival on site, impossible to enter and benefit from our reservation, no response despite new attempts to make contact (call and doorbell). Obligations to pay at the last moment for another hotel which is obviously more expensive to avoid sleeping outside! ONGOING DISPUTE, We are initiating procedures to claim our due and obtain reimbursement and compensation UNALLOWABLE! This is clearly a ZERO rating that I give.

I'm so glad I chose this property! A lot of people complained in reviews about the check-in process but it was easy and exactly as described in the directions provided. People also complained about a dark entryway but there were light switches and the fact that the hall lights are on a timer is good for conserving energy. The room was adorable and perfect for two. I love that there was a hot water heater and coffee and tea. I also love that there were electrical outlets on both sides of the bed for cell phone charging, which is not always the case. We visited in winter and the heat worked almost too well. The location was fabulous, really close to the train and close to the center of the city. I hope to get a chance to stay here again!

The room was adequate. My main issue was with the service. Everything is offsite and no contact in person. Further, they insist on checking being between only 3 PM and 6 PM. We were traveling by car and it was very difficult to get there in that timeframe because we were coming from Venice. Please read their guidelines carefully before booking. It can get confusing and cause delays for tired Travellers. I arrived, and was given the wrong code to open the apartment door. I was able to reach them immediately over the phone, but I had to keep running outside to get the code because there’s absolutely no service inside the building. The Wi-Fi is very poor and inconsistent. After figuring out how to get me into the apartment, things went more smoothly. Another thing that really made this stay negative was that I plugged in my iPhone charger into the outlet upon arrival, and after about 10 minutes, the power went out completely in the entire room. They discussed troubleshooting it over WhatsApp. The power came back, but my charger no longer worked. I had to go buy a new iPhone charger which is expensive. It was especially difficult to find one that didn’t have a European plug-in. I asked them to compensate me for destroying my charger and they refuse to do so. The amenities in this room are sufficient for the price, but I can’t imagine how frustrated I would’ve then if the power was out for longer or if the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. Id pass on this hotel.

Cannot recommend. Clumsy check in process having to go somewhere else to collect keys. What you see on the site’s photos is not what you get. There was no shelving at all in the bathroom or shower. There was mould on the wall next to shower

Amazingly terrible! One of the worst places I've ever been: 1. Overpriced & mischarged city tax - €170 paid for a night. Thought it was a hotel yet a hostel style room. It doesn't deserve a "star". It also mischarged city tax, forcing us to pay €14/night, while others charged €8. The room is worth €50 or less per night. 2. Confusing self-checkin process - address provided is confusing. You can't locate it using Google Maps. It forces you to get keys between 3-6pm or €30 Euro will be charged. It has an e-lock but owner changes the code after 6pm. Conclusion is owner trying to charge extra €30 for every stay as flight doesn't always come within 3 hrs. For self-checkin, all should be more flexible. We're in 21st century and why can't you just have an electronic door lock to enable 7/24 check-in? Don't use ancient keys anymore! 3. Blind box room hunting - a code was provided without room nos. There were 6 rooms, meaning I had to try up to 6 times to find the right room. It's for people who like room hunting game or blind box opening but wasn't me. Just put a room number there! It wasn't fun at all ! 4. Old, simple renovation & unclean - It's old with a woody ceiling & floor which looks dirty with lots of dust. I felt the bed was dirty as it made our skin itchy after laying down for a while. My skin allergy has persisted for 5 days even now! To Host: Comments from HK. Contact me when you visit HK. I will show you the contemporary 21st century technology & installations!

The check in process for this property is very restrictive and the property is not transparent about the costs. We were charged €30 to check in outside of a 3 hour window between 3pm and 6pm which is not standard for accommodation in cities like Florence and wasn’t declared up front in the check in instructions, but hidden in the terms and conditions. We were also advised that the later our check in was, the more we would be charged.
