Grand Hotel Baglioni

The hotel is in an excellent location, next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Novella and a few minutes' walk from the train station. It is also very close to the Central Market, and there are many Asian supermarkets nearby. The Vietnamese rice noodles from Jia Yifang are very delicious. It only takes five or six minutes to walk to Baihua Church. The hotel's service is friendly. When checking in, the front desk proactively informed the room that the snacks and drinks in the minibar are free and will be replenished if you extend your stay. It's rare to encounter such a generous hotel. The restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel is a joy, and you can overlook the top of the Baihua Church. In fact, the hotel also has a rooftop garden restaurant, but it may not be open for use because it is the off-peak tourist season. But there is an elevator, and guests can go directly to the rooftop garden to enjoy the view. After checking Google, we found that the restaurant on the top floor had good ratings. Unfortunately, there were no vacancies for the second night we booked. The hotel is a 19th-century building, and some rooms inside are still being renovated. But the renovated lobby and rooms are quite charming and practical.

First of all, the location is great. Less than 5 minutes from Florence train station. I can see it right away^^ It's a very convenient location for traveling around Florence, so it's a good place to take a break along the way. As it is a hotel with a long tradition, the facilities are old, but clean and well-maintained, and the minibars (peanuts, soda, water, etc.) in the rooms are free. More than 3,000 yuan per night in a hotel, no experience at all. After checking in in the afternoon, I went shopping. When I returned to the room in the evening, I found that the window in the room was connected to the patio. There was a party being held in the hotel restaurant upstairs. The room was comparable to a concert scene, and it was even clearer than some concerts. Once the room door is closed, the corridor is much quieter than the room. We went to the front desk staff to solve the problem. The staff said that the restaurant was not under the hotel's control and they had nothing to do. They asked us to change the room and claimed that it was full, so we had to go to the restaurant to negotiate. I went upstairs to find the restaurant manager. Someone was having a wedding party. They said the business would close at 12 o'clock and they couldn't ask the guests to turn off the music. I couldn't sleep at all, so I stayed on the sofa in the corridor until 12:09, when the restaurant closed, and then it became quiet. The hotel knowingly knew that the room was not soundproofed and sold the room to the guest without any compensation measures. Facilities: The facilities in the room are old and the floor squeaks when stepped on, which is barely acceptable. As a girl weighing over 90 pounds, the bed squeaks whenever I turn over. I didn't sleep well at all during the two nights I stayed. It feels like the hotel has put all the decorations into the lobby. The lobby is really comfortable with comfortable sofas, suitable air conditioning, and beautiful music. Worst hotel experience in Italy. Protect everyone from lightning.

The hotel is very antique, relatively clean and comfortable. The restaurant is on the top floor and you can see the round top of the church. The transportation is convenient, right next to the train station, and it's just a short tram ride to the airport.
