Grand Hotel Minerva is closed to the Florence train station. The hotel is classy and the staff are very professional. Rooms are clean & nice view of the town center. Bedding are comfortable and breakfast spread is great. Enjoyed my 1 night stay in this hotel.

Great hotel with a perfect location. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast spread is good, would rate perfect if you cater more to Asia travellers. After 1 week in Italy, we do miss some Asia breakfast spread. My family love the cozy area on the top floor.

Convenient location close to the main train station and Duomo. Lovely view across the city from the rooftop bar and pool. Rooms are small and the storage space are peculiar racks in some rooms.

Great hotel that is very well located, its within walking distance of all the most famous places in Florence. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the lobby of the hotel is beautiful. We found the room and the bed in particular very comfortable. The food served in the breakfast is very good. Our only suggestion is to improve the wifi service, the internet was very slow and sometimes it disconnected. Everything else was perfect, we definitely recommend it.

Excellent, one of the best choices in Firenze

The location of the hotel is very good. It is convenient to go anywhere next to Baihuatang. However, the breakfast is very average and you don’t need to order it. There are many coffee shops nearby with more choices than the hotel.

The hotel seems to be managed really well. The view from the rooftop pool was really pretty. The room was also clean. Contrary to what it looks like from the outside, the interior is very neatly and well decorated.

The location is first-class, the environment is very good, the breakfast is comfortable, and the service is absolute. This hotel is really not a good place to go on a business trip, and I like it very much. But the facilities make people feel uncomfortable, although the owner should be sincere. The air conditioning system seems to have cost a lot of money, but guests cannot control it themselves. They need to contact the front desk every time and it starts very slowly, which makes people feel troublesome. The lights in the toilet are so bright that you probably won't be able to sleep if you go to the toilet at night. There were bugs in the room. I saw an electric mosquito coil, but I didn't think it was bedbugs. Fortunately, I didn't find any itching problem after staying for two nights. The front desk clerk checks in and sends you to your room after completing the check-in process. Haha, it feels weird. If the hotel and room facilities are quite satisfactory, you don't need such service. The curtains in the room are also weird. The outermost layer is half-opened. Haha, the shape is unique. The wardrobe is also weird. This is the first time I am so confused about reviewing a hotel. Overall it is good, but I feel that many places are a bit strange. So I canceled my last night's stay and moved to another hotel.

I booked a triple room on the second floor, but was given a sunken room on the second floor, which was strange. To open the room, you have to go down the stairs, and the bottom of the bed is not a formal window, but a small transom window. Fortunately, the room is quite big, the decoration design is okay, and the breakfast options are okay. The toiletries are very bad, very thin, and have no smell. It feels very diluted. The location is great, just a 6-minute walk from Florence train station. It takes about 10 minutes on average to walk to the Cathedral of Flowers, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Accademia Gallery. From time to time, a small band sings in the square of the Santa Maria Novella Church at the door, and the atmosphere is very good.

There are no basic things, no daily mineral water in the room, no kettle, no tea bags, etc., no shoehorn, and the glass window cannot be fully closed and will leak air. On the first day I checked in, I was assigned a very strange room. Similar to the basement, you need to take long stairs, there are only very small windows looking at the tile roof, and it is very close to the computer room, and there will be low humming noise. So choose rooms on the 2nd and 1st floors carefully. I couldn't sleep at all at night. I complained about changing rooms in the middle of the night before I fell asleep!
