I love this cozy hotel that has delightful caring owners! They make great suggestions & take time to give exact directions to sights. The breakfast is excellent with many choices. The best in Italy in my opinion! Including fresh fruit salad

Friendly and helpful owners who explained exactly where and when to go see the sights. Only a 20min saunter into the centre of Florence with air conditioning and a yummy breakfast! Only thing to note is not suitable for those that struggle with stairs as on the second floor.

The infrastructure of the Giglio can have some improvement. There was no AC for the first day/night in our room, and it’s very hot in Florence in July. We were moved to a different room the second day. Marco and Manuela are extremely helpful and always willing to help their passengers.

This is a really convenient hotel, just 10 minutes (max) walk to the centre of Florence and even less to other attractions such as the Accademia gallery and the San Marco museum. We were given a warm and friendly welcome upon check in by Marco and provided with lots of useful information about the area. Our room was very clean and had excellent air con thankfully, as we were visiting during an unexpected heatwave. I would definitely stay here again, the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that at almost 160 euros per night I thought it was on the expensive side for what it was.

Nous avions réservé pour 4 nuits. Accueil excellent, le couple propriétaire est d'une extrême gentillesse : toujours présent pour vous renseigner, donner des adresses de restaurants....L' hôtel est au calme , tout en étant à environ 15 minutes du centre historique. il y a possibilité de laisser sa voiture dans un parking ( qui n'appartient pas à l’hôtel) et qui se trouve à 5 minutes à pieds de l'hôtel. Excellent petit déjeuner. C'est certain si nous revenons à Florence, nous réserverons de nouveau ici.

AAA Excellent property, the location was convenient to the tourist area without it being in the middle, an easy 2-3 block walk. The hotel staff were top notch, helpful, gracious and excited to share their city with us. The breakfast buffet was amazing with something for everyone.

L'hôtel se situe à une vingtaine de minutes à pied de la gare de Florence, et à un quart d'heure du Duomo (c'est tout droit !). Notre chambre était spacieuse et fonctionnelle, la literie très bonne, rien à redire. Deux mentions toutes particulières : - Très bon petit déjeuner, beaucoup de produits frais et de qualité - Très bon accueil de Marco et son équipe, souriant, aidant, et plein de bons conseils (en français en plus !). Une bonne adresse que je recommande vivement pour découvrir Florence.
