We spent two nights in this hotel on May 7, 8, the hosts are very kind and attentive, it was very good and pleasant to communicate with them, the room is clean, tidy and comfortable, the location is very good, the security of the hotel is protected. The night was very quiet at the location of the hotel. The breakfast was quite good and I would love to return to this hotel if I come to Florence again

The hotel is an old building, the room for 4 people was spacious, clean and quiet, the breakfast was good and the owners were very friendly and gave references to the main attractions.

I love this cozy hotel that has delightful caring owners! They make great suggestions & take time to give exact directions to sights. The breakfast is excellent with many choices. The best in Italy in my opinion! Including fresh fruit salad

Friendly and helpful owners who explained exactly where and when to go see the sights. Only a 20min saunter into the centre of Florence with air conditioning and a yummy breakfast! Only thing to note is not suitable for those that struggle with stairs as on the second floor.

The infrastructure of the Giglio can have some improvement. There was no AC for the first day/night in our room, and it’s very hot in Florence in July. We were moved to a different room the second day. Marco and Manuela are extremely helpful and always willing to help their passengers.

This is a really convenient hotel, just 10 minutes (max) walk to the centre of Florence and even less to other attractions such as the Accademia gallery and the San Marco museum. We were given a warm and friendly welcome upon check in by Marco and provided with lots of useful information about the area. Our room was very clean and had excellent air con thankfully, as we were visiting during an unexpected heatwave. I would definitely stay here again, the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that at almost 160 euros per night I thought it was on the expensive side for what it was.

We had booked for 4 nights. Excellent welcome, the owner couple is extremely kind: always there to provide information, give restaurant addresses....The hotel is quiet, while being about 15 minutes from the historic center. it is possible to leave your car in a car park (which does not belong to the hotel) and which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Excellent breakfast. For sure if we come back to Florence we will book here again.

AAA Excellent property, the location was convenient to the tourist area without it being in the middle, an easy 2-3 block walk. The hotel staff were top notch, helpful, gracious and excited to share their city with us. The breakfast buffet was amazing with something for everyone.
