Unfortunately, as is common elsewhere, bookings made via Trip.com result in less attractive rooms being allocated by the hotel. In our case on the ground floor with a view of a fire wall. Windows are not soundproof. If you have a light sheep, you will often be woken up by loud human communication from the street. The breakfast is nothing special but ok for the price. The hotel states that children are free. However, if you don't want to sleep in the same bed with your child, then you should look for another hotel.

We had only one night to spend in Florence, so we chose Relais Hotel Centrale. It is a few minutes’ walk from the metro station, close to restaurants, and an easy walk to the GalleriaDell’Academia. Florence Cathedral is nearby, and our room had an unforgettable view of the Duomo. The hotel offers a fantastic breakfast, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional.

In posizione centrale. Appena giri l'angolo vedi a due passi la cupola del Brunelleschi di S.M. del Fiore. Ampi scaloni in una dimora storica con una hall veramente apprezzabile. Camere comode in stile moderno e una sala colazione( per altro buona anch'essa )con un magnifico tetto affrescato di un colore pastello piacevolissimo. Unica pecca, non mi era mai successo prima, ritornato la sera, la camera era rimasta disfatta. Tante scuse da parte del personale, sempre gentilissimo, ma...
