Palazzo Tolomei is a part of the history of Florence. Its hostess, the remarkable Daniela is the living proof of a glorious Florence, full of art, culture, generosity and prosperity. Our visit to the Palazzo was a flashback to the renaissance (the walls and ceilings are covered with unparalleled paintings and fresco) and it was exquisite. The rooms are palace quarters (by definition) clean and perfect. The breakfast is a daily surprise, plenty, pure and traditional, served where the original owners used to have it. The owner complements the stunning experience with classical music in all the common areas. Our Florence will always be inextricably linked with Palazzo Tolomei! Magical place , incredible breakfast, staff outstanding , the palace is stunning! Location is amazing beautiful romantic trendy city! This Palace make you feel very special and welcome! Daniella the owner and her crew are fantastic. If you look for a break this is the place to go! We were there for 4 days with friends, and now we have a lovely memories ❤️

We had a recommendation for this boutique hotel. Danielle and staff were so welcoming. They checked on us when we were late arriving. Booked reservations for us. The breakfasts were amazing. Such history to each course. Rooms were amazing and huge. Great location too for all attractions. This is a must for the real Florence experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo Tolomei for three nights at the end of September 2023. It was a truly exceptional experience. Signora Agnelli - Daniela, and her staff are the most warm and welcoming hosts I’ve ever met. They made restaurant reservations for us as a matter of course. And when getting a taxi proved impossible, Daniela offered to have one of her staff walk us and our bags to the car rental! The Palazzo is gorgeous. It is in a great location, walking distance to everything and has an elevator. Our room was huge, frescoes on the ceiling, seating area with sofa and easy chairs, a welcoming bottle of sparkling wine, biscotti and candy. Very comfortable bed, great A/C. Great rain shower in a roomy bathroom. Breakfast is amazing. Do not miss it! Juice, made to order coffee, yogurt, granola, croissants, various rolls, focaccia, cheese and salamis, hot freshly prepared eggs, special Florentino cakes and pastries!! While the number of “courses” is constant, the items and dishes change every day. As I said before, do not miss it! We had an amazing stay and would whole heartedly recommend it.

A truly exceptional, once in a lifetime experience! Step back in time and enjoy the grandeur of this incredible Palazzo, sleeping under frescoes from the 16th century. Daniella the owner and her staff make you feel like family, warmly welcoming you and helping you plan everything from dinners to drivers to in-room massages. The location is central to everything - steps from all of the cities top attractions. And the BREAKFAST- truly an experience. This was the best breakfast of my life! The flavors and the variety were bar none - sweet and salty and included in your room package. Overall, I could not recommend more highly. This was a splurge for us and glad it was one that we chose to make!

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious, with beautiful decor including paintings on the ceiling. The location is very convenient, right in center of the tourist attractions but still away from the chaos of tourists. The breakfast! What an experience! Daniela was amazing in making sure we had the best breakfast experience ever! She even packed us a breakfast bag for the check out day since we had an early morning train. I would definitely recommend staying here. This place is a hidden gem in Florence!

Tout d'abord, cela n'est pas un hôtel mais ce sont plutôt des chambres d'hôtes, ce qui n'enlève rien à la beauté du lieu mais rend le tarif quelque peu exorbitant. L'accueil est chaleureux, les chambres magnifiques mais sont un peu faites de bric et de broc : les meubles Ikea côtoient les meubles anciens, etc... En vrac, le positif : situation idéale, bâtiment historique superbe, literie très confortable, petit déjeuner pantagruélique, propreté, plein de petites attentions dans la chambre, climatisation parfaite et propriétaire très sympathique Le négatif : douche pas très confortable, produits d'hygiène en grands contenants (vraiment pas hygiénique) la moitié des ampoules électriques étaient hors service, mauvaise insonorisation, les draps n'ont pas été changés en 4 nuits, malgré une taie d'oreiller tachée. En résumé, c'est une belle adresse mais cela reste très cher au vu des prestations fournies.
