Deuxième séjour à Florence à la Gabbia et toujours aussi ravis.Les petites maisons sont au calme et très bien équipée, l equipe est efficace et très gentille. Situation idéale permettant de tout faire à pieds. Tres proche du duomo avec des commerces pour faire ses courses et la gare accessible à pieds également.

A beautiful apartment, in a quiet yet central spot, with a view of the Duomo from the courtyard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms all comfortable and well equipped. Perfect for a relaxed special break… we would definitely stay again.

All’arrivo ci accoglie col sorriso una ragazza dolcissima che ci accompagna al nostro appartamento: un gioiellino, con arredo raffinato, dove si respira la storica ma con tutte le comodità moderne, nel cuore di Firenze con un tranquillo patio da cui ammirare la grandiosa cupola. Grazie Teresa per la cortesia e per le utili informazioni. E grazie anche al ragazzo che, prima della partenza, al ritiro dei bagagli, ci ha accolto con gentilezza e ci ha dato tempo e spazio per ritemprarci dopo il pomeriggio sotto la pioggia! Torneremo volentieri!

We wanted to express our gratitude for your help throughout our stay The location is wonderful and convenient. The apartments are quaint and great stop midway through our stay to clean our clothes and get reorganized. We stayed in the small apartment with the mezzanine floor no 12 It has all the amenities you need but it was very small and five nights felt a bit long here especially as the only toilet /bathroom is downstairs and you have to go down quite steep stairs to access it The room to sit in is also tiny and we couldn’t see outside as the window was very high so was quite dark The staff are great and very helpful , and the location is also great as it’s very close to everything

Jessica, who checked us in, said it best: “we want this to be home away from home”! And it truly was! Great location (you can literally see the Duomo from the courtyard) great amenities (kitchen, tv, washer/dryer, fantastic AC), quirky and fun decor, peaceful, safe, comfortable, attentive and pleasant service…need I say more? Very close to walk to all the Firenze attractions and pretty close to the train station as well. I would just make a couple of suggestions to improve the stay even more: 1. The recycle list for trash is great but a little confusing. We tried our very best, but it might be easier to mark the trash cans? 2. I would have loved to sit outside, however mosquitoes bother me quite a bit. Some citronella burners outside would be lovely! 3. Even though there are three doors with security codes to get through, a safe in the room would be great for those of us who are anxious, it would give great peace of mind! I recommend La Gabbia del Grillo to everyone looking for a “guest house feel” stay in Firenze! 5 stars!

Sono stato presso uno degli appartamenti ,esattamente il numero 9, molto bello, pulito con tutto quello che serve e forse qualcosa in più. Posizione centralissima con vista sulla cupola del Brunelleschi. Sono rimasto impressionato dalla gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari. Complimenti

Abbiamo scelto la Gabbia del Grillo perché siamo rimasti colpiti dalle foto del cortile e dalla vista Duomo. Non ci siamo pentiti per nulla! Anzi! Dal vivo è ancora meglio di come appare in foto: il silenzio e l’intimità del cortile sono senza paragoni! Ottima anche la pulizia dell’appartamento, gli arredi molto curati e l’accoglienza di Alain! È stato un soggiorno magnifico

La vista sul Duomo è talmente bella che viene voglia di restare alla Gabbia del Grillo e non andare in giro per le caotiche vie del centro. L'appartamento era molto pulito e arredato davvero con gusto e con pezzi ricercati! Grazie a Irene per le tisane che ci ha fatto trovare: gustarle la sera prima di andare a letto è stato un graditissimo regalo!
