Posizione perfetta, staff cordiale e disponibilissimo, colazione ottima con prodotti di qualità, camere pulite, i nostri amici pelosi sono ben accetti. Il centro di Firenze è praticamente a due passi. Parcheggio per auto disponibile. In piu prima di ripartire ci hanno offerto bottiglie d’acqua fresca per il nostro rientro. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Don't stay here! Photos are misleading. Pros - Receptionist was friendly and helpful re: places to visit, restaurants etc. Cons - Horrendous odour from drains. We left after 1 day as we couldn't stay in our room because of this. Other issues: The single USB point in the room didn't work. The bathroom sink plug jammed in so sink so sink not usable. Water pressure in shower extremely poor. Bathroom was impractically tiny (not reflected in photos).

This is a family-run hotel a short walk from the S. M. Novella railway station, the historic centre of Florence, and quite near to the Ponte Vecchio. It's an ideal base for visiting Florence, particularly as the organised day-trips by tour companies start and end at the railway station, a real bonus when some start just after 7am. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and really made us feel welcome. Our room was 302, and was very clean and comfortable, particularly the bed, the best sleep on a two-week trip to several locations across Italy. Breakfast was good and ideal for a day of walking. Our only issue was other guests, two nights sharing the same floor as some Americans who kept their doors open so that they could shout conversations to each other across the corridor, came in late whooping and slamming doors, and were generally a nuisance to be nearby to. The staff were quick to advise them to keep the noise down whenever they heard them. That aside, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Magenta and it has all that you need for a city break in Florence.

Ottimo albergo, in una posizione strategica perché vicino alla stazione ma anche al centro città, dove sentirsi a casa. Colazione a buffet più che completa, camere comode e spaziose, personale gentilissimo.. un plus sicuramente è stata la presenza di Tony, un magnifico Golden giocherellone! Sarà la nostra base per altre gitarelle in quel di Firenze! Grazie per tutto!

Première nuit sur Florence désastreuse ! Nous avons loué 2 chambres, une triple avec une odeur d’égout (malgré avoir fait couler l’eau dans la salle d’eau), l’autre chambre avec un chauffe HS et extrêmement bruyant qu’il est impossible de dormir avec. Arrivée à l’hôtel après minuit, donc aucune autre possibilité pour dormir. Les chambres ont de plus une hygiène plus que douteuse, cheveux dans les salles d’eau, nos pieds pleins de poussière après être sortis de la douche. Petit déjeuner en famille histoire d’oublier cette affreuse nuit ? Et bien non ! Impossible de manger à 5 car malgré la réservation obligatoire la veille, le personnel refuse de rapprocher deux tables afin que l’on déjeune ensemble. Lors du check-out je signale notre mécontentement au réceptionniste, qui a eu une attitude pour le moins « je m’en foutiste » et pleine d’explications en tout genre pour se justifier mais aucune excuse ni tentative de geste commercial vu le tarif de 315€ pour ce genre de prestation. J’ai laissé mon email, et n’ai eu aucun retour du directeur, qui était présent mais n’a pas voulu échanger et est parti au moment où j’ai annoncé que nous n’avions pas passé un bon séjour. Je ne laisse pas de mauvais avis habituellement, mais je reste très déçue de cet hôtel et du non retour de la direction suite à ma demande.

Ao escolhermos um hotel para ficarmos em Roma nós escolhemos o Magenta, pela localização. Sem dúvida nenhuma ótima escolha, tivemos de sair após o horário, eles concordaram, não tivemos problemas, ótimos restaurantes próximos. Próximo também de ônibus e trens.

This hotel was a lovely walk from the centre of Florence, we found it easily after arriving by train. Checkin went smoothly and we got a room for 4 on the 4th Floor. The room was compact yet had everything we needed with a beautiful view. With 4 people it was too hot even with the aircon but reception kindly gave us a fan which was welcomed and appreciated. The staff gave us lovely recommendations of nearby restaurants. Beds were comfortable and breakfast did the job. Tony the dog was given lots of love by our daughters, he is gorgeous.

Let me start by saying that the reviews on this hotel are quite flattering & positive, but that was not our experience at all. Travelling with friends for 12 days throughout Italy, this was, by far, the worst hotel we stayed in. The stench, and I mean stench, emanating in our room (Room 106 on the 1st floor) was quite sickening. After complaining, more than once, we were provided with an air purifier for the remainder of our stay, which was noisy at night and basically only masked the smell, & meant we did not really sleep well. We purchased our own air freshener from a local supermarket. We were very glad to leave! Whilst the location is quite close to the station, & supposed to be located "in the most elegant area of the city", that would depend on which way you approach the hotel. From the station, the quickest walk leads through a somewhat seedy area, and we certainly felt a little uncomfortable. If you approach from the riverside, though (which is not convenient to the station) then the neighbourhood seems a little more upmarket. We overhead reception staff tell others (when they checked in) to avoid the station area at night, something that we were not advised of. It's overpriced for what it is and what it offers

Boa localização, staff simpático e prestável. Perto de tudo, ao mesmo tempo afastado da confusão do centro histórico. O staff sempre pronto para ajudar... Quartos razoáveis com camas demasiado moles...fiquei com for nas costas! O pequeno almoço deixou muito a desejar. Muito básico e teve de ser encomendado de véspera com hora marcada
