I really liked the hotel. Although not new, the vintage look is more interesting. At 7 am the bells ring in the bell tower; those who like to sleep, keep this in mind)) The staff is friendly, I asked for mugs for tea and boiling water, they were provided without any questions. The price-quality ratio is ideal! Living right in the center of Florence I couldn’t even dream of this!

I booked this hotel through Booking, thinking that I would find a cozy place to at least rest. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 p.m., everything in the hotel is shabby and old, you notice it simply when you get there, in the common areas, the reception, etc. They gave me the key to the room and when I entered I saw that there were live insects behind the paintings, dead mosquitoes on the walls with traces of blood, and other live ones. They tried to relocate me to another room with the same problems. I went to look for another hotel at 10:45 p.m., I didn't even touch the room but they charged the money for that night. Conclusion: if you are a traveler with the stomach to endure it may not matter to you, but I would certainly never recommend it to someone for a vacation or a few days of work.

The room I was assigned, very small, was full of mosquitoes. The room was very hot while the bathroom was very cold. I reported the malfunction in the morning but the problem was not resolved. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing. The value for money is exaggerated for the services it offers.

Location, location, location. Literally steps from the Duomo. We had a queen bed and a twin. The queen was up in a loft and wasn’t very comfortable. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Breakfast in the mornings was basically continental but served its purpose. Easy check in and out.

We stayed in this hotel for one night in view of the Florence marathon. Simple hotel located next to the Duomo, clean with very helpful and friendly staff. They gave us the possibility of having breakfast starting at 6.30 and what is important is that when you leave the hotel you are inside the starting "cages". Possibility to leave bags and suitcases and a bathroom where guests can change (if you no longer have the room) is available.

Bad: everything. It’s not a 3 star hotel, it’s not even a 1 star. Rooms are dirty. AC? Yes it has AC, but it doesn’t makes air cold. It is making noises and dry air. Mosquitos they are everywhere. It’s impossible to feel refreshed after night in this room. Bed is dirty, bed sheets are dirty. Bathroom is dirty. Towels are dirty. Service desk lady doesn’t want to do her job. Hotel doesn’t provide enough towels for two guests (it was just one towel). I asked for one more towel, After arguing and proving that room was booked for two persons, she gave me another one, she put it directly on a lobby desk, where everyone puts money, documents and bags.

Great location. Close to train station and steps from cathedral and Bell’s tower. The clerks were friendly. Missed the convenience of being able to make coffee/ tea in the room. Coffee was not available for purchase either! No iron available.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. Right in the heart of everything. Its off a small side street so it quiet too. Very comfortable beds and verybclean. Its old. Its not a boutique hotel. Its great value. In a great location with great staff. Highly recommended

The hotel is located about 15 minutes walking distance from the train station, which is the main port of coming and leaving Florence. It was not too bad for us to walk over in a wet day with drizzles. I had to use my phone to navigate my way to find the hotel. It is located on a very hidden street - hard to find without GPS guidance. The hotel is very small and quite old. My room is very small, that could be because I booked the cheapest type of room. Staff was very pleasant, beds were so so, breakfast not impressive. I may choose a different one next time. But overall, I did not have bad experience with this vendor.
