Casa Ghiberti is a gem of a find just around the corner from the Duomo. We stayed for 4 nights. It's perfectly situated for all the main attractions in Florence while still being tucked away from the crowds and the bustle of the centre. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable and huge. The proprietor, Andrea, was a wonderful host and treated us to a very comfortable stay and ensured we saw all the relevant sights. Breakfast was perfectly continental, with tasty treats and good coffee. It's also within a stones throw of great restaurants and eateries. Thoroughly recommend Casa Ghiberti for a genuine Florentine experience.....much more personal than a hotel. Best to contact and book direct.

Everything was great about La Casa del Ghiberti, the location was only 200m from the Duomo, but felt like it was secluded and completely away from crowds. The hotel was small but perfect, great rooms, lovely atmosphere. The host, Andrea, was amazing. Made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and couldn't have been more helpful and honest. Oh, and Lola was great too ;)

When we originally booked this gorgeous B&B, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Even before we arrived, we were impressed by the communication from Andrea who was super helpful with how to reach the hotel. Once we were there, the B&B gave a really cool vibe and the rooms are bigger than what you get in most places in Europe. Great bed, great host and a lovely breakfast. The B&B is very close to the Duomo and all the main sights are walkable within 15 mins to the Palazzo Pitti. We stayed 5 nights and I wished I stayed longer. Andrea is very helpful if you get stuck on where to go outside Florence as there is so much to see and visit. I am now looking forward to our second visit to the La Casa del Ghiberti

Abbiamo scelto La Casa del Ghiberti per il nostro weekend a Firenze ed è stata una scelta vincente. È situato in una posizione perfetta, a due passi dal centro e a dieci minuti dalla stazione. La camera era pulitissima, spaziosa e confortevole. La colazione ricca e ben fornita, spazia dal dolce al salato: da provare assolutamente le torte home made. Il titolare Andrea è disponibile , gentile e simpaticissimo, e pieno di consigli per i turisti. B&B consigliatissimo!

Straordinario B&B posto dietro il Duomo di Firenze, in pienissimo centro. Ampie metrature e soffitti alti rendono le camere perfette per il soggiorno. Pulizia ottimale (zero polvere) e colazione completa (dolce e salato) Andrea, il titolare, sempre disponibile per ogni esigenza ed utili per i suoi preziosi consigli. Consiglio a chiunque.

Perfect location. You can't get more central than this! The owner absolutely fantastic!!!! The room: what can I say... wonderful! Clean, very large. with everything you need... and even more. Breakfast… excellent! You would never leave!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful central location so you can walk everywhere. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Andrea our host was so incredibly helpful- he made great suggestions for local restaurants, booked day trips for us and even took requests for breakfast the night before. When we left some of our things behind at checkout Andrea even posted them onto us without hesitation. I would highly recommend this B & B.
