The room is very spacious, but maybe because it is an old building without much re-planning, the soundproofing is a bit poor, and you can hear the sound from the next room, and there is a restaurant downstairs, where there is a lot of music and entertainment every night...The restaurant will be prepared very early, It will be noisy, so it is easy to wake up...not recommended..
Also, I always smell the old smell... If you have a sensitive nose... I don't recommend it.
But you can see the square scene from the room, which is good, and the water pressure in the shower is strong enough! After a long day of travel, it’s nice to take a shower!

The room is small but the location is unbeatable. I stayed here twice when I came to Florence. It is a very convenient boutique hotel. I would recommend it to tourists. It is also very convenient to eat downstairs. Transportation and attractions are also within walking distance. It is very close to the train station.

Excellent hotel obtained from the historic residence of Garibaldi in Florence in an extraordinary location on the SMNovella square.
Friendly and helpful staff, they let us find the suitcase in the room and booked the restaurant for the evening.
Very spacious room (in my case)
and clean, overlooking the square
Period furnishings with custom sculptures such as old tire palm trees located in the lobby.

The pictures don't reflect the rooms, you will never get the room shown for the Classic room.

Extremely well located. Beautifully designed maintaining both the special characteristics of the original palazzo as well as modern pop art theme. Indeed very well designed. Our room was huge. With a 6 meters wood ceiling. The level of design and craftsmanship really stands out. Service was also attentive and friendly. Our only misgivings would be the somewhat disappointing breakfast in what seems to be a too small breakfast room as well as the bathtub which could have been much bigger and safer taking into account the size of the bathroom.
