B&B di Piazza Del Duomo

Was referred to this B&B by a very close friend of mine and it did not disappoint! Great view of the Cathedral and people watching. Bright lights did shine a little through my window but I was still able to sleep like a champ!

This B&B is nestled on the renowned Piazza del Duomo, it offers a unique blend of comfort and charm. The owner, Luisa, extends a warm, familial welcome from the moment you step through the door. Inside, you'll find a haven of Florentine authenticity and comfort. Our room was a spacious, spotless retreat, complete with a charming balcony that offered panoramic views of the Duomo's iconic dome. A note for travelers - this historic building does not have an elevator, so it's a good idea to inquire what floor your room is on if you have heavy luggage. We were on the second floor and it was manageable. Breakfast was good and was offered in two restaurants in the Piazza. Luisa gave us insider tips on the hidden gems off the tourist trail. With its incredible location, beautiful and well-appointed rooms, and Luisa's warm hospitality, this B&B allows you to truly experience la dolce vita in one of the world's most enchanting cities. Can’t wait to return to Florence.

Our stay in room 6 gave us a wonderful view of the Duomo. The breakfast was done through the cafe downstairs and was enjoyable. Great location to walk to everything. Luisa was very kind and a great host. Highly recommend!

Best place, nice location, would be better if elevator was available, but it was understandable, it wasn't a real problem at all, but the kindness of Luisa was amazing!!!!

I chose this B&B because of its proximity to the Duomo and it didn’t disappoint in that respect. Sadly, not all rooms have a view of the Duomo so be careful which room you book if this is important to you. Prior communication and check-in was excellent considering reception was unstaffed when I arrived. My room was clean and comfortable with fresh decor. The bathroom, although not en-suite, was next door and also spotless. The tea/coffee making facilities were great, there was a fridge and safe. The high point was the breakfast. I was given a voucher each day and breakfast could be taken at either of two neighbouring cafes. One of them was in Piazza del Duomo, what a treat! Both did delicious breakfasts.

We stayed in the room with the Duomo view and WOW!! What a wonderful experience! The hotel is walkable to everything and breakfast was fabulous. I would 10/10 recommend this B&B and we will most definitely be coming back! Thank you for the magical stay!
