New Generation Hostel Florence Center

I had a good time, excellent location, good cleanliness and services, firm bed as I like it and therefore comfortable. Located inside a religious structure it is a labyrinth to get to the rooms but the structure is very beautiful. Of course it is a hostel and not a hotel and as a hostel it is among the best I have seen.

This hotel is really average First, when I checked in, I waited at the door for 20 minutes and there was no one there. Since the key must be put down to enter and exit, the normal Reception should be open 24 hours a day. At that time, there was another passenger who had stored his luggage and was waiting with him. There was only a piece of paper at the door saying that he would call us as soon as possible if he had any questions. However, we did not have phone cards to make calls, so we had to wait. After 20 minutes, I decided to call first. Go for dinner and come back later. Second, the breakfast arrangement is very poor. It is not a buffet style but you have to wait in line to get a croissant and a cup of coffee. Moreover, the time is 9-10 o'clock. The service staff is very slow and it takes a long time to wait in line when there are many people. Third, the air-conditioning was useless. The more I turned it on, the hotter it got. It was so hot that it was difficult to fall asleep throughout the night. Fourth, there are so many insects. There were mosquito bites in the room and my eyes were swollen in the middle of the night. There were flies and spiders everywhere in the dining room. The only good thing is that the monastery feels safer and the location is close to the city, but it's really bad not being able to sleep.

It was a rare opportunity to stay inside a church, but the Wi-Fi was barely working, the shower room smelled bad, the futon was itchy, and there were a lot of mosquitoes, so I don't think I'll stay there again.

The entrance is hard to find, it's a short distance from the station, and it's very far from the door to the room, but the room is very, very beautiful ❤️ There is also an exclusive cabinet, and the sun will shine in in the morning

The place is not easy to find. It is next to the church. It took me a long time to find it. The entrance is actually a small shop (from the outside), and the front desk is far away from the room. It feels a bit eerie. The worst thing is that I was woken up by bed bugs at night. I finally made it to dawn and went to the front desk to report it. They sent me away with a word "I don't know". They gave me an email address and asked me to send an email. I didn't bother them. I went to buy medicine first. Finally, I spent 16 pounds to buy medicine and applied it. Later, I contacted Ctrip and asked them to help solve it. I want to praise Ctrip here. This is not their problem, but they can put themselves in my shoes and actively fight for compensation for me. Finally, when the other hotel refused to compensate, they reimbursed me for the medicine and refunded my hotel expenses. Although this incident greatly ruined my mood and affected the subsequent itinerary, I am still very satisfied with Ctrip. Thank you for their help. It is worthy of being a platform I have always trusted. I will continue to support them in the future. I want to denounce this irresponsible hotel here and hope that guests will not suffer in the future.

The environment is very quiet and it is safer in the church

Good facilities, but I didn't have assistance to make the air conditioning work, meaning I was cold!!!! The breakfast was very poor, they offer a croissant and a cup of coffee, unacceptable!!! It would be better to say that there is no breakfast!!!!🧐 I really liked the vibe of the girls who work in cleaning and at the cafe.

The hotel is great, not far from attractions and close to the train station. I thought all 24 beds would be in the same room, but I ended up sleeping in a room with 6 people. However, the bathroom was indeed used by many people, so the cleanliness was different the next day.
