The hotel is in the perfect location to walk around. Silvana checked us in she was very friendly and professional. Beautiful historic building in the center of town. The room was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. We only stayed one night but was able to see David beautiful work of art!!!

What a view! Threw open the shutters to an amazing view of the piazza below and the San Lorenzo church opposite. Walkable from the station and to all attractions. Our room for four was simple, large and very comfortable. Lovely cafe for breakfast a minute walk away. This is a quirky hotel full of history and we loved every minute of our stay.

I absolutely loved this quirky hotel. So much history and atmosphere. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Location is unbeatable. But if you are looking for a high end hotel experience with a bar/restaurant, gym, spa, room service etc. then the Artist’s Palace is not for you.

Il posto è semplicemente meraviglioso, Un ex convento convertito ad Albergo. La magia di Firenze, della storia e del rinascimento. Le camere sono spaziose e finemente arredate, con una vista sulla basilica di San Lorenzo. Spettacolare. Vi è anche una terrazza ad uso comune da cui ammirare la cupola del Brunelleschi. Ufficialmente la struttura è un tre stelle ma sembra più un quattro: frigobar in camera, ciabatte monouso e kit doccia. La colazione (ottima!) avviene in un locale di altissimo livello vicino alla struttura. La cortesia e disponibilità della reception e del proprietario completano il quadro.

What a great hotel! So interesting and old world charming. Staff is wonderful, location is perfect, our room was furnished with two twin beds and the bathroom was a nice one. Would definitely recommend to those who enjoy historic and nostalgic accommodations.
