Das Hotel war ordentlich und die Preis/Leistung passt. Die Innenstadt ist hervorragend fußläufig über die nahegelegene Tram zu erreichen. Für Personen mit leichtem Schlaf ist das Hotel jedoch nicht zu empfehlen da es sehr hellhörig ist und man alles was um einem herum geschieht gut mitverfolgen kann. Da es unser erster Aufenthalt in Florenz war kann ich nicht beurteilen ob es ein Allgemeiner Umstand ist oder nur den Stadtteil betrifft jedoch war das Leitungswasser zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes stark gechlort was man sofort riecht sobald man den Wasserhahn öffnet.

I only stayed one night with them but I really enjoyed it!! very clean hotel although in some cases a little dated. friendly, helpful and helpful staff. very good breakfast.

Unbelievable categorisation as 3 stars. Very close to a petrol station, no lobby, extremely poor breakfast, scaring narrow lift, room with a discouraging bathroom, room door closing badly and reporting noises whenever a guest opens/closes any other room in the floor, very expensive for a quality of the services comparable to a youth hostel. After 18h you are checked in by the staff of a nearby restaurant....

I have often frequented it for work for several years together with other colleagues. Much worse in the rooms, unlike the bar and entrance, renovated two years ago. They don't do maintenance anymore, or at least not enough. Broken shutters, shower that sometimes doesn't work well, peeling walls, poorly maintained windows...

Hotel Alex was a cute place to stay. It was very clean. Bathroom was on the small side. Breakfast was a nice selection.

This is a decent hotel not far from the center with friendly staff and tasty breakfast. It could do with a bit of modernization but the lift takes you to the floors and it is comfortable. We had a good time
