We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting Florence and our experience was absolutely wonderful. Everyone who works there is beyond helpful and friendly, the breakfast was fantastic, rooms are stunning with amazing views of the city center. Great location, the only thing we were a little disappointed about is we thought it had a roof top terrace which it didn’t but the service and the people made up for that

Excellent hotel located very centrally to many of the tourist sights. We never needed a taxi and walked everywhere. The rooms were spacious with a great shower. Bed was comfortable and very nice linens. The desk staff was extremely friendly and helped us find our way to our tours. Breakfast was wonderful: a wide variety of foods: pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, bacon, pancakes, cereals, yogurts, vegetables and sweets. Excellent coffee and you could order any type of eggs that you wanted. Way nicer than standard continental breakfast. Bonus is that they have a spa consisting of a sauna, whirlpool and steam room that you can sign up for your private use, Felt wonderful after a full day of touring. It was in a safe part of town with many restaurants' near by. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Wonderful location for walking to sites. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The service and staff was impeccable. My room overlooked the square which was noisy at night but with closing the windows, the room was soundproof. I do think their cover promotional photo which shows rooftop dining is a bit deceiving. I was surprised when I checked in this area is only for a room you had to book. It is not accessible for other guests. This is one of the reasons I choose this hotel. I must not have read the fine print. They do have a generous breakfast.

Wonderful hotel, awesome staff, and breakfast buffet was top notch. Wonderful location. Recommend highly. Walking distance to great attractions. Of course, Florence is a walkable city. Would stay here again. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

Having stayed here last month I won't be returning. The photos online are extremely misleading - they make the hotel seem a lot larger than it actually is. Whilst our suite was a great size, lots of the furniture was falling apart and the tiles were loose on the edge of the bath. I nearly cut my foot! Upon reporting this to the reception team they argued with me that the tiles were left loose as the bath needed fixing! Not the kind of customer service I'd expect from a 5 star hotel! I felt after this the staff were talking about us every time we left the hotel - not a nice feeling. It appears there are similar reviews about this so please take note.... The breakfast was terrible, no fresh bread, all cakes were in packets and the scrambled egg and bacon was stone cold. The breakfast room was tiny with cheap pictures on the wall. In a beautiful location like Florence surely the décor could have been better. It was made worse by the staff sweeping up around us. There's a lot this hotel could learn from. The last straw was basically being begged by the staff to give a 5 star review on trip advisor of the hotel upon checkout. Either they're scared of the manager or desperate. I have never experience this situation before, it makes the hotel appear tacky.
