Hotel idéal pour être dans le style de Firenze et de croire sous les Médecis. Belle et grande chambre, magnifique peinture au plafond, déjeuner copieux et personnel très attentionné. Idéalement situé dans la rue menant au centre pour visiter la ville.

Very spacious room with incredible frescos on the ceiling. Really friendly helpful staff. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. Good quality breakfast with a nice selection. Good location. Giuseppe and his mother made us feel very welcome Shower continually went from hot to cold, we mentioned this twice during our stay but it was not fixed

This was the worst “hotel” I have ever stayed at. I wouldn’t even consider it a hotel. They refused to turn on their air conditioning even though my room was hot and it was 80 degrees outside. The room was filled with mosquitos that bit me all night. The beds were as hard as the floor. And the woman Rita that works as the concierge/front desk was incredibly rude. At one point she yelled at me because I took a small piece of toast to my room and a packet of honey because I had food poisoning and she did not allow me to take something as small as a packet of honey to my room. She also taunted me. The breakfast was tiny and they refused to bring more food for the guests when it ran out. All the guests were confused as to why they wouldn’t replenish the breakfast table for everyone to eat. Save your hard earned money and please don’t ruin your trip by staying here.

Lovely Hotel in a great location. Approx 20-25 mins walk to the train station. 10-15 mins to lots of restaurants etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a superior double. Very large room. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful ceilings throughout. Lovely simple breakfast included. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Florence.

We just had a lovely two night stay at the Hotel Capitale. The hosts, Rita and Giuseppe, are warm and inviting, making you feel instantly at home. Our room was massive, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The A/C worked perfectly, the bed was firm and comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. We booked a different hotel for the second half of our stay in Florence and we are so sad we did :/ This will be our go-to-spot in Florence from here on in. Thank you Rita and Giuseppe!
