Great hotel, staff, and dining. Central location on the malecón. Well equipped for extreme heat. My favorite of all the places we stayed throughout Guatemala.

First the customer service was excellent and made up for any other areas that were lacking.
Second the location, the pool and outdoor grounds, the hot water in bathroom, the breakfast were all excellent.
The room I stayed in was only slightly dated. Nothing a hardy traveler can't contend with. Would only disappoint the most pampered clientele.
Also the power went out during the hot morning and while they did fire up a generator I guess it wasn't enough power because the a/c wouldn't turn back on. For those I dropped two areas of review down to 4 stars.

Enjoyed my stay here. I ended up in an alert ent across the street which I initially wasn’t to happy about but it turned out be the best option. No view of the lake but very quiet and cool (temp) apartment with a little kitchen to make your own meals if you want. A better a
Option than staying in the hotel which is very noisy with the other guests and music from the bar.

It's a great choice for Flores! The apartment looked exactly as the picture and they had made the bed very nice with forming towels to swans/dogs etc.
The breakfast is not a buffet but you have several options and it was really tasty. The pool and jacuzzi is very small.

The apartments in front of the hotel are well equipped and just refurbished, but they are all on a road which is incredibly noisy. You need high quality ear plugs if you want to sleep. The service is so so and the front desk has a cold, industrial, flavour.
