We had a room with a fantastic sea view! It was clean and big.Friendly staff and well-maintained buildings. Everyone who works at Kalypso is great. One of the best friendly places I have been too. From morning till night, start of the holiday till the end we were always made to feel so welcome. The food at the restaurant was excellent every single day. The beach is really unique. I have never seen something like that. I highly recommend and I will come back for sure!

Traditional Greek cuisine from chef Nikos Papadakis cocktails and more from gifted barman Antonio will make you smile😊 all the time! House ceeping from Eirini is from another world! The staff is always smiling (very difficult to find this days) the reception is very helpful and overall the general management under the all seen eye of Mr. Apostolos HLIOY is making this a true experience of holidays in Greece!

Very unique place with the friendliest staff. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! Rooms cleaned daily! The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. Around the pools the sunbeds are high quality. The pools are cleaned every day. We had a wonderful stay!

I have been coming to Kalypso for some years now and it always feels like coming home.. I absolutely love the location and the way the hotel is laid out like a village. The rooms are bright and comfortable with wonderful views and the presence of the ocean is always felt . Swimming in the lagoon is amazing and other beaches are within easy walking distance. The staff is super friendly and I always feel genuinely met and cared for. The stay always feels too short!

Gets better every visit Back for 12 super days in May 2023. Rooms were ready for our arrival and well kept the whole time . Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful Meals were superb...we were fully inclusive. Always something ne to try and savour. Great choices and really pleasant and helpful restaurant staff. Some nights there were interesting "specials" on the menu. The site and setting is unique, with 3 pools and pleasant pool bar staff service, and easy access to the sea. Great for walks and hikes and after a strenuous day the welcome aperitif from the main bar set us up for dinner A thousand thanks for a superb holiday and at a very reasonable price too! We will be back...

The amazing place! Friendly stuff, typical greek food, clear water, romantic atmosphere, dive center....I love it! Incredible nature, rocks, fishes, flowers and more... nice weather and sea... I love this location so much!

The pools and outside space are lovely at its very picturesque but the room was very dated and the bathroom was in poor condition with glass slats missing. The air-conditioning is old and struggled to cool the size of room. The shampoo and shower gel dispenser was broken when i contacted reception the receptionist was unhelpful. People smoke everywhere and even an employee who has a room in a no smoking area thinks it ok with children around.

We were invited by family to join them for a holiday at Kalypso Cretan Village, which prompted me to look at the reviews. There were many bad reviews encompassing food, cleanliness, shabbiness, uncollected trash, poor service, which almost caused me to deciding not to join them. I am extremely glad that we joined them at Kalypso, because we had the most enjoyable holiday there. The resort was beautiful, the food, surroundings, service, cleanliness, entertainment were all tip-top and totally the opposite of many of the bad reviews I had read. We cannot speak more positively about the whole makeup of the establishment. We are planning to return in October next year....a good month with temperatures around 25°C.
