The Dalmar, Fort Lauderdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Hotel service at this boutique hotel rivals that of a 5star. From the time you arrive, the bell boys/front desk staff all make your arrival smooth, they greet you with a smile, already informative about the hotel and what to expect. This is before you have officially checked in. Then smooth check in. The only reason I took out a star was for housekeeping, they need training. If I check in for a night then dont knock on my door before check out. If I have a do not disturb light on then know that it means that and not for you to knock/ring the door bell twice after I have told you we do not need housekeeping or have a late check out. housAnd i surely should not point out to the red light and explain that it means exactly DO NOT DISTURB. and the kept ringing the door bell. More training is needed for housekeeping.

If you know me you know I abhor traveling. But the Dalmar may have changed my mind. Every aspect of the service (shout out to Asia at the front desk who is now my new best friend) was impeccable. Ryan, Janyll and Chris were so accommodating, kind, and friendly. The only way my stay could have been better was if it was at home.

The hotel is excellent,clean and beautiful, our room with nice view, but more than that, the staff is awesome, specially Stacy,she was very professional and attentive for us all the time. we are positively impress with her. Thanks, We will come back and for sure recommend the place to my friends.

Love the place! Asia was so amazing and helpful! She Gave me a full rundown of the place the pool and restaurants are fab! Even assisted troubleshooting my lost reservation! Can’t wait to come back again for a longer vacation! The sparrow has the best food and view!

The service was excellent, very attentive, modern style, quiet, and super clean. The staff went above and beyond. The pool and the lobby were very nice. Location is excellent and very close to Las Olas. We will be back definitely and very soon.

We really enjoyed our stay here, all the staff are fantastic and the place are so nice. My favorite spot there is the roses coffee shop, the barista there who named leika is the best barita she is so friendly and nice. Over all i will recommend this place!

By far this is the most aesthetically pleasing hotel I’ve had the privilege of staying at. Every aspect of this hotel was very pristine. The location is in a prime area with lots of local attractions nearby, especially if you like to bike around- one of many amenities offered by the hotel. My stay and experience were smooth sailing from my arrival to my departure. Everyone I encountered- from the bellman to the front desk- had an inviting smile on their faces, were approachable, very accommodating and had a willingness to assist. Stephanie The Front Desk Supervisor made the most impact on me during my stay. Love you gurlll!!! You were so easy to talk to, extremely helpful and even went as far as recommending a fun activity at the hotel for my bestie and I to attend once we returned from exploring the city. It was a mixology class at Sparrow. It was an intimate class of 4- my bestie and I as well as a lovely couple Jordan and Kacey. Pete, our mixologist for the evening was very interactive. Lastly, Janice at the lobby bar also made a positive impression both mornings at breakfast. It was while at breakfast on our last day sitting not too far from an elderly couple when I overheard the elderly lady telling her husband she had to step away to thank the girl at the front desk for her kindness and how helpful she has been during their stay. It just so happens, I too happen to work for a Marriott property hotel in Minneapolis, so it was refreshing to know as well see the Marriott standard of care during my stay. I even went as far as noticing how certain things were done and brought that idea back to my property to see how we can adapt it into our property to help elevate our guest’s experience. This was our first-time visiting Fort Lauderdale and first visit to The Dalmar. Needless to say, it won’t be my last. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you all!!

I was met by Lovely who was very patient checking me in, she welcomed me wiyh a great smile and she assigned me to a nice room and walked me through the hi-tech systems at the Dalmar. Great hotel, the decoration is pretty nice great service and great staff. I will definitely be back here Great stuff
