I am giving this hotel a rating of 3 was giving a 4 because of the lack of response from the GM of the property. They were good to send a follow-up upon me checking out to see how my stay was but when I noticed a billing issue no response. I sent two emails over a week timespan and to date he has not responded. I ate in the lounge on my last day and somehow my charge on my bill was $2 more than what I have on my receipt in which I took a picture of and provided in the email to the GM. Other than that issue my stay was fine. The rooms are what you would expect from an Element property. I would suggest that they add some sort of accessory in the shower which allows guests to place shampoo and stuff. Your only option is on the shower floor The breakfast is ok but not like I expected more. The staff at check-in, check-out and at breakfast were very courteous and friendly. I saw one comment about the elevators being slow and I will say I had no issues while there for the 1.5 days..Even with 1 elevator out of service I did not wait more than 3-4 minutes for an elevator to arrive. I got to use the gym which nice and clean. Overall for the price you pay this is a good place to stay as you share all the facilities as the Dalmar, which in my opinion makes all the difference.

Excellent customer service, Excellent ambiance. We had excellent service from Nick, Aris, Bri (6th floor Delmar desk). In addition, many other staff members made my stay great I just can’t remember their names. There was an African American male who provided great service at the element front desk and an African American woman in the restaurant on the 6th floor who also provided great service. Also, the White male in the lobby who helped us get our shuttle and directed our Uber was great too. Our shuttle driver to the beach was fun to talk too. He’s also a great driver. He is a Hispanic male in his 60s. I can’t remember everyone’s names but the service at this place is top-notch! It doesn’t matter who in helping you, everyone treats you like royalty. I can’t say enough good things about this visit.

Aris was very accommodating and welcoming. Provided a warm and elevated experience. Ambiance is well thought out. Pool was comfortable and welcoming. Included sunscreen, aloe gel and towels and chairs. Bar scene is a vibe. And the neighborhood is walkable.

Valerie( in dining) was extremely professional as well as helpful! I really enjoy the view from the dining room! I have visited many hotels and The Element, by far is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to rest and rejuvenate. Looking forward to another stay!

Asia was amazing! Super friendly and got me checked in super quick and easy. If I ever needed anything she was very accommodating and helpful!

The hotel was very family friendly. Asia did the most to ensure we had th best stay. The kids loved the pool and had the best time ever. She ensure that we were able to have the best view. The free ice cream was the perfect touch. All in all we would definitely com back l!

We stayed here for a few nights before a cruise in March. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had to switch rooms bc the first one had damp carpet and a very strange smell, but the hotel dealt with that extremely well. I think the previous guests left the balcony door open and it wasn't reported by housekeeping. They don't over daily housekeeping which is a horrible new change Marriott has adopted to save money and hire fewer people. Bad people at the top charging more and offering less. Seriously making me question our loyalty to the brand. Overall, a good option for a couple of nights.
